The sad thing is, that's what I read it as at first.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Re: Taiwan breeds transgenic, fluorescent, green pig
"There are partially fluorescent green pigs elsewhere, but ours are the only ones in the world that are green from inside out. Even their hearts and internal organs are green," Wu said on Thursday.
That oughta show those rival fluorescent-green-pig-making scientists.
Re: Taiwan breeds transgenic, fluorescent, green pig
This isn't as big a deal, the only cause for surpirse is that its from taiwan, which is the last place you expect soemthign like this to occur. As for the Glowing pig, its not too hard, i've done it with E.coli in the lab on my own. Its a simple process of utilizing restriction enzymes and a plasmid vector. Of course, thats with a bacteria.
I'm more intrested in how they overcame the 60%+ abortion rate that usually occurs when trying to introduce such a gene into mammalian cells.

Easier then it sounds.
And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't
So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my road
And I'm ready to suffer and I'm ready to hope
