Re: The Inevitable FF7:Advent Children Topic

having just finished playing through FFVII again recently, i've actually come to be less and less interested in this. the game ended itself in story well enough, even if the final C.G. ending was "short" and not very self explanatory. alot easier to understand the second time through

looks like an okay movie. just hope they don't **** up too much story-wise

Hah! Red XIII is in it!

      And he looks goofy!

of course red's in it. you think they'd pass up the chance to show him fathering his dog babies with some willing human female? doubtful.

Maybe the Lifestream caused his body to go asexual so that he could reproduce.

Maybe there were other dog/coyote/wolf/tiger/lion species that were able to mate with him? Maybe the translator messed up and used species instead of tribe? I don't see why it's always him mating with a human or going asexual.

And I never said they were the same quality as FVII, I said they look just like the FMV. Has the development team not heard of these wonderful things called colors?

Nothing I've seen or heard about this makes me anticipate it. I'm going to buy it and watch it, but I'm not drooling and counting down days.

Edit: Rude does look badass, but where's Barret?

The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

He's in there. I've seen a screen before, but none of him in action yet.

As for lack of color - Sin City?

Sin City is totally different. It's filmed black and white with some objects and people in color. Like in Schindler's List and the girl in the red coat. But with Advent Children it's not stylistic black and white. It's just a drab color selection because steampunk wouldn't be steampunk if it had colors.

I don't believe I've ever heard of the theory that Nanaki was asexual before.

                    At Gamefaqs everyone is asexual.

Re: The Inevitable FF7:Advent Children Topic

Considering that almost all of what I've seen of the trailer appeared to be taking place in Midgar, a heavily industrial city, I thought the drab, greyish colour selection was quite appropriate. How I saw it and interpreted it, the entire game was about the greys of the industry clashing against the greens of the planet.

Drab colors is a style. Just like Sin City's choice of color is a style. I don't see any difference. What you're telling me is that you hate drab colors.

And ignoring you got old, especially since you post so damn much.
