    Oh I know it isn't sappy. I was just saying that because of pregnancy hormones, everything makes me cry.

    The book was amazing and I think I'm sue to watch the movie this weekend

      I've heard that The Road is an amazing book. My friend Jake used it on his scholarship essay and on the AP exam for AP Lit and Comp.
      What's the point of having an emergency response system if you can't provoke the wrath of God?

            I'm a Gump fan, I'll admit it. Not on a personal top ten or anything, but it's a well-made and well-acted movie despite dipping into treacly territory on more than a few occasions. Even if you don't like the movie, however, I suspect you'd like the book less.

            Now, there's also things like Starship Troopers; saw the movie first, and then read the book, and while I enjoy the movie, I like the book a good deal more. However, it's such a terrible film adaptation from a faithfulness standpoint that they almost exist as two wholly separate entities.
