Barring the fact there are blue CG elves and a fancy CG alien world and CG CG CGG it sounds like the prototypical "unplanned love against all odds" story. With a "technology allows paralyzed soldier another chance at glory" frame story. I just don't know if such an emotion driven plot will resonate with audiences when its starring giant blue cat elves in a stereoscopic 3D cinescape.

Exactly. My assertion was that it's an idea that's laid relatively fallow in Hollywood for a while.

Hrm... Well... After seeing the trailer I'd say... The storyline doesn't seem very engaging or interesting. Seems kind of generic.. . But if the oppertunity to watch this movie comes up I will because I like movies in general and think I'd enjoy the action and animation parts of it.

And once I watch I can tell everyone my opinion on the movie and debate with people that don't agree with me. Cause everyone should have the same opinions as me or they're stupid... >_>

I read in PTOM magazine today that the game will be one of the first few games that can be played in 3D(ishness), provided you have the right kind of TV and stereoscopic eyewear.

Also, the game is coming out before the movie it's based on, which is hilarious.
