Good point. But I can handle a bit of complaining about the military in general, but not people who make it personal by directing it towards me. Saying I was wrong for (fighting the war, joining the military, etc. etc. insert whatever variable judgement can be inserted here). But, you're right I guess, either way.

That's kind of a personal thing I went through when I was 20, I wanted change and to grow as a person. The Army helped me do that in a way. But I've also lost from that experience in my life. So I guess there was some sort of exchange, there (why do I predict a Full Metal Alchemist joke coming?). But it seemed like a good idea at the time seeing my potential in that career. It would help pay for Jess's college when she was getting into Medicine, as well as other opportunities.
