It's only in select cities, though. So who gives a hoot.

it will only show for one weekend in one theater in only Los Angeles, Dallas, Minneapolis, and New York City.
Is there really a point to that? And when's the DVD?

Not far after that. It's just a promotional thing for Comic Con and the home video release.

It was long enough the first time around, frankly.

I'm guessing the one theater thing is because in its original release, it was really pushing hard on an R rating, and it'll probably be released either NC-17 or (more likely) unrated. Most theater chains do not make it a habit of releasing these kinds of movies, let alone reserving multiple time slots over multiple weeks for one.

Now, if it was an "art" film with an NC-17 or unrated version, it would be a different story.~

Isn't this just the theatrical cut with Black Freighter spliced in?

15 minutes more nite owl/silk spectre sex, 10 minutes more of that guy screaming and looking at the blood-spurting stumps on his arms.

The DVD is coming out on my and the Pavilion's b-day: July 21.

I won't be getting the DVD as a b-day present. I didn't care for this movie much.

I didn't think they were going to release this, because the movie didn't do too well.

I'll just rent Black Freighter and I really enjoyed it, but I've already seen it too many times.
