Re: That Anti-GameStop Video That's Been Floating Around
Gamestop has given me the wrong disc twice in person, a scratched cd that I refused to accept, and a 'new' MS Flight Simulator that was missing the CDs. I used to be okay with getting 'new' games that had open cases, until I got a digipak case that was worn to hell.
If I choose to buy something from there, it has to be worth it (it is a used game after all) or it has to be a sealed new release.
I never reserve anything, especially after I was able to get my younger brother a copy of Lego Star Wars II on release day despite being asked if I had a reservation.
I NEVER trade games in.
You have to either be a ****ing idiot or a poor ****ing piece of **** to try and get money to turn around for another game that way. Your used, completed games are probably worth more sitting on your shelf than trading them in for $5-10 store credit.
My brother got $8 for his Sega Saturn and 1/2 a cent for Virtual Cop. I'd pay him $8 in an instant to be able to play the console port of Die Hard Arcade again.
