The woman in question is suffering from a serious thyroid problem and does not have the medical attention needed to correct it.

I'm quite surprised at the rather infantile behavior of so many people at this site, especially those who have the responsibilities as "moderators" and "advisors".

If one were talking a matter of "fairness", one would have to consider the fact that this has yet to be finalized in court as it appears her attorney has evidence that it was physically impossible for her to have done so.

In the most recent details of the case, the evidence is actually in her favor and she could quite possibly not be charged with having maliciously killed the child.

A possible accident. Is that still a reason to be so childishly insensitive to someone's medical condition that they cannot do anything about? I'm not saying it wasn't a sad and terrible occurrence. I'm just saying I don't feel their is a call for pitchforks and torches from the angry mob.

Well, actually, there was something she could do about it. After reaching the 200+ pound limit she could have decided to stop shoveling cake in her face. I mean come on, she is 1000 pounds! Every fat boy here would be making fun of her. There is no reason to ever let yourself get close to that weight.
