    It's not it's having it in the trailer. It just gives it away.
    The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

      Except that the series ended with them in a relationship. I mean, they freaking had a kid together!

            That is kinda true, it was to be expected but only by those that followed the series. The trailer for the first movie showed them about to kiss but it didn't happen, so who knows.
