    3. Exorcise. It sucks but after a little bit it's fun! Endorphins! Do it a little bit everyday.
Gets rid of those inner demons, too.

The key words being "A healthy person"... with his professed love of sweets and sodas he's probably getting cravings (as inbalanced blood sugar is known to cause) and then gorging. I went through the same thing before I gave up sodas. It's not easy to do, but you'll have to find some sort of fluid substitute until you can adjust. It helped me to have cold water on hand (room temperature stuff I could never tolerate), and early on I used a lot of No Sugar drink mixes like Crystal Light and various knock-offs to satisfy my need for flavor. It took me a while to teach myself the difference between when I was thirsty and when I was craving sugar, as the two had always been linked in my diet before.
So you're a fish out of water...
      Keep swimming.
      What else can you do?

I just ate a salad for the first time in... I dunno. This is going to be harder than I thought and I thought it was going to be pretty hard to begin with.

Don't have to start hard. Just cut things out like fast food first and go bit by bit.
Find a dog, honk it's nose. If you are bothered by this sentence. I guess you're just not cool enough for the noses.

Excerise is important too, don't go out of your way and buy a treadmill, but if you do own one, use it. I used ours on 5 mph for 20 minutes in a row in a day. I lsot about 15 pounds. And I gained them back when I quit. I am trying to lose wight agian myself. Even if you eat a lot of healthy foods sitting around all day isn't good.

Don't be afraid to treat yourself every now and then. Don't overdo it. More then once a week is to much, don't take large portions either. Save them, so eat half a cupcake, freeze it in a bag or something so it doesn't dry out, and finish it next week.

You can find a lot of healthy treats on the internet, but a easy one is to buy low fat yogurt and freeze it. ( You can even get Vanilla. ) It tastes just like Ice Cream.

Being healthy is completely overrated. What if you get shot or electrocuted or something? Then all this was nothing but wasted effort. Nuts to that.
I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

Eating healthy doesn't have to be bad. It's never going to be as good as eating a Big Mac and fries, but if you hate what you're eating switch it up.

Make a salad and put some grilled chicken in there and some BBQ sauce. Maybe some avocado or some flavored crutons. Bottom line: keep experimenting until you find something you like/can tolerate.

Depends on your goals. If you just strive to be a slightly healthier person, then yeah, starting out slow is okay. However, if you want to lose weight then it will actually make things more difficult. Why? If you're starting out slow it will take a LONG time to see any results. Cutting back is hard enough, but cutting back and not seeing results is torture. If you make big sacrifices, you will see big gains in a short period of time, which will give you greater motivation to carry on.

Excerise is important too, don't go out of your way and buy a treadmill, but if you do own one, use it. I used ours on 5 mph for 20 minutes in a row in a day. I lsot about 15 pounds. You are the sum total of everything you do. Never see it as a diet or short term exercise program. You have to embrace it as a new way of living.

For some people this would be OK. For me it wasn't. I would essentially relate it to telling a crack addict, "just take one hit." Or telling an alcoholic "just have one drink".
