Your right. He looks more puzzled/concerned than menacing.

Meh, all the exoskeleton's look weird. I don't see how they became so iconic.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

The guy lost 63 pounds to play his role in The Machinist. He takes his job seriously and expects others too as well and to not **** around. Give him a break.

            Valk, you are right.

On that note, went and saw it.

I found it to be another solid movie.

            Found maybe 1-2 things I didn't like/found cheesy.

            Action was good and constant.

                I saw it.

                It's better than T3.

                And that's saying something.

That it's only the second worst Terminator movie?

                          Re: Terminator: Salvation

I'm not saying that Christian Bale isn't justified to be upset that someone is messing with his concentration while he's trying to act, but that doesn't mean you get to go off on the rant he did.

And I just got back from seeing Salvation. It's good, but not great. The plot is shallow and obvious and a lot of the action scenes were incredibly convenient. I thought they handled everything wrong with Marcus Wright, but it's not that noticeable because the rest of the characterization wasn't that strong either. I did like how they flipped John Connor/Kyle Reese relationship dynamic, and Moon Bloodgood was surprisingly decent considering her previous career highlight was flashing her boob in What Just Happened. I would have enjoyed it much more without the Bale controversy, but overall I'd have to give it an A- for summer blockbuster with a C- for terminator mythology. McG, and his horribly pretentious nickname, failed to take advantage of the opportunity to explore the characters and mythos of John Connor.

As for the ending... *** SPOILERS ***
Like the rest of the movie it was pretty obvious. I kept expecting them to do the twist ending from an earlier script where Connor dies and Marcus takes his face and takes over leading the resistance. Even if it was leaked it's still better than just giving Connor Marcus' bionic heart.

I mean, come on. they kept making such a huge deal out of stating over and over again that he had a VERY STRONG HEART. the second John was injured, you knew what the **** was gonna happen

                              I agree Valk, predictable.

It was also erratic, I remember a previous issue that said the machines would be more "gruesome" but it was hardly that.

How can machines be more gruesome when this movie is PG-13?
