    The people who work crap jobs and pretend they aren't miserable are LYING to themselves. Using TV and movies and games and drugs and whatever else to escape your crappy day job after work isn't "not miserable" so far as I'm concerned.

        I know a few people that have jobs they love with paychecks they love. But these people also workaholics.

                  Yeah I guess you would have a hard time finding a job you liked if you are a college drop out or someone who has a degree they can't get a decent job with

                        Im a high school drop-out with a job that pays $35k a year(it'll be $45k next year after my promotion), and I love my job, my paychecks, and I only work 3 days a week.

                        So it is possible to have a job you enjoy with the pay you enjoy also, though Id like to be paid more, but who doesn't?

                        BTW Im not bragging or anything(not that theres a reason to, Im sure theres a few people here that makes a lot more then me), Im merely making a point that it is possible.

                            In this "real job" scenario, does this include moving companies but keeping the same / similar positions?
