    Okefenokee

I went to the swamp this past weekend.

I took some pictures. I couldnt get any decent shots because our boat guide was going too damn fast, but he was cool as hell and knew a lot about the swamp. It was a good time to be had by all.

The mosquitoes werent out yet, it was too early in the day, but the damn yellow flies were. They hurt and will not go away until you kill them.

I live 30 min away from there as well, but on the east side of the swamp. You're close to Valdosta, yeah?

              Hey, a gator!

I saw one of those at the Kennedy Space Center.

We should have a get together for all the Georgian pavies.

Gators, right? Crocodiles are the ones on the Nile.

Yeah, those are American Alligators. There are actually American Crocodiles as well but they are in the Everglades and are endangered.

I was actually really surprised on how many alligators we saw. Those pics are only the ones where I caught them in time before the went underwater or the pic was just a big shakey blur

                              We have some gators.

                              In cages.

They're so fat and immobile that guests always ask "are those fake?"

The other day, we got to grab a rat snake that had been slithering around the rides and scaring guests.

I must see tiny lizards at least 3 times a day whenever I go to work. Some red-tailed newts too.

For an amusement park that showcases caged wild animals, it actually has more uncaged ones.
