I ate one of these. As the chocolate melts a new layer of pop rocks is revealed. It crackles all the way down. It isn't as bad as you'd think it would be.

Chocolate Skittles are awful. Mind you, they're not as terrible as Ice Cream Skittles or Carnival Skittles, but they're still awful. They taste a lot like Toostie Rolls, only grittier.

            Muse is absolutely correct.

As for the topic, the strangest candy I've ever had was this peach and chili sucker. It was very odd, but not half bad.

Aero Chocolate Bars from Canada are also quite weird, I don't think I like them. It's like someone blew air bubbles in the chocolate to make it look bigger than it really is.

Purple is not just another color, it is a way of life.

Aero bars are awesome. The way they melt in your mouth is great. I am now dying to consume some type of chocolate bar and its 7:40 in the morning.

Smarties here in canada are candy coated chocolate, very much like m&m's but I have had the other smarties, the ones that look like tums. I much prefer the chocolate ones but still like m&ms better.

Two of my fave chocolate bars is the crunchie and the crispy crunch.

"When you eat your Smarties, do you eat the red ones last? Do you suck them very slowly, or crunch them very fast? Eat those candy-coated chocolates, but tell me when I ask, when you eat your Smarties, do you eat the red ones last?"

                      Re: Oddest candy you've eaten

Back when I was in high school I tried one of those tequila suckers with the worm in it on a dare. It kinda tasted ok...kinda not, but as soon as I felt the barest inkling of something coming through (the worm) I threw it away.

I also tried chocolate bubble-yum once. That stuff was very short-lived for a reason: it tasted like ****, and blew brown bubbles.

I thought the topic of this was "Oldest candy you've eaten."

Otherwise, there was this odd candy that was made of some transparent candy... with a grasshopper inside. Or a cricket. I'm not kidding.

                        I did not eat that....

I once found a gummy bear in a bag of gummy worms.

I can't post a picture here, because it would be inappropriate, but I had penis-shaped candy from Italy before.

My dad brought home a bunch of the stuff when he worked in Italy. It was gross. And disturbing cause it was penises. Penii with smiley faces and cheery little sacks. Sacks and sacks of penis candy is a traumatizing thing..

It may or may not have tasted like utter s***, but to me, almost NOTHING that is supposed to taste good tasted worse than Hubba Bubba-flavored soda. That stuff was horrendous. And again, short-lived for a reason.
