    I applied for a job.

    Am I cool yet?

Applied for a position at the Borders where my friend works at. I've never had a jorb before, 'cause I be a lazy punk with his music and his hair. Wish me luck.

Anyone else searching for a job, whether it be a summer thang or something a little more solid?

I have an interview with the Peace Corps on June 5th.

We'll see what happens with that.

My sister works at a Barnes & Noble. She likes it alright. Good luck with your hunt, and I hope you aren't stuck in the cafe.
So you're a fish out of water...
      Keep swimming.
      What else can you do?

i'm a tutor at the moment, but hopefully i'll get back into barbacking after June and for the rest of the summer.

Good luck with your job hunt.

What's the time commitment for the peace corps, VIT? Isn't it two years? I've thought about doing a tour with the peace corps after college.

Oooh, barbacking's a ***** of a job. But, I just quit my old job at the Game Crazy, thank god, and now I'm looking for work either here or in Grand Rapids. I need to find out if I got a job with Centennial, because that will determine if I move or not.

I am coming for all of you!

retail jobs are the worst. my friend worked at the cafe in borders and i heard it was absolute hell. i told him since its so close to the casino that he should just take his paycheck one day and just put it all on roulette and if he won he could quit his job but he didnt listen.

The audacity of it all! How can you look your friend in the eye anymore?

I'm gonna check out the American Dream Diner opening up on route 303 and see if they're hiring.

Failing that, I'll see if the Tom Sawyer Diner off route 17 is still hiring.

Someone is bound to have tables that need waiting.

Tom Sawyer Diner sounds like a hoot.

Are you going to play the Duke or the King or Negro Jim?

I just applied for a job as a substitute teacher at a Speech School here in Atlanta and a few of the parents who have their kids there gave me recommendations to apply. It'll be a nice job as I'd love to have the experience. I'm still working at the Carter Center and babysitting when I'm needed. I'm doing mostly independent study this summer so, it'll be a live bill to bill summer.
