I'm not sure whether I should take that as a serious theory Denethor... Because the Old Man is Digory from the Magician's Nephew.

      Re: Prince Caspian

That's an interesting point, but he did state that it was not a story about (your spoiler character) so much as a story about a (your spoiler character)-like being - more of a "what-if" scenario than an allegory.

But yeah, he was obviously very influenced by the character of said character.

        Re: Prince Caspian

I need to read the books.

I did enjoy this movie though. Yeah there was alot of fighting. But it was a fun movie to sit through. My favorite character was the mouse.

Perhaps they'll do the Narnias but just not in chronological order? Don't want that actors getting to old, perhaps?

Looks like their using publication order, which is important for that fact. The exception might be The Last Battle, which could easily come before either The Horse and his Boy or The Magician's Nephew.

You got me there, it's been a while since I read them. But still, Aslan could be the Prime Minister for all intended purposes.

I'm not worried about it. They're doing The Hobbit after LotR, and I don't see anyone complaining.
            ...and that's why.

              Re: Prince Caspian

The Last Battle wouldn't make much sense to go anywhere but last seeing as Aslan takes everyone to the REAL Narnia at the end.

I just saw the movie, and I got to say, I was bored.

The acting was worse than the first movie, and it just didn't seem to go anywhere. Maybe I should have read the books.

Well, there are 5 more chances for a good Narnia movie!

They are going in order of when the books were made.

The chronlogical order in the series is really odd and unfocused. The fact that those books are made right before The Last Battle, is just... guh.

Its odd that he would deny it, because Aslan says something to the effect of "I am present in your world, but you would know me by another name and another face." Its hard to see it any other way except what I stated earlier in spoilers.
The first story he dies to save the people, then he is ressurected. Pretty much Jesus, another reason why people are get their panties in a bunch about the movies and books.

I only say The Last Battle might be made 5th because of the actors growing too fast issue. It's those pesky child labor laws what really fouls it up (sarcasm, of course).

If they're smart they'd of shot certain scenes from future movies in advanced.

                        But I doubt they have.

No one ever accused Hollywood of being smart. Well, okay, they have a lot of money, so they are doing something right...

But no one ever accused them of being forward thinking.

According to the wiki's talk page they are shooting with some staggered production time-line deal that allows them to work faster, but I doubt they can really go all out without making sure that each release does reasonably well first (though they are apparently in pre-production for tVotDT already).

I think it's an 18-month or so production dealie like what Harry Potter has.
