How do you grow hair?

I've had my hair short for as long as I can think, and now I'm trying to grow it out. I haven't had a haircut in almost 6 months, and it's still relatively short...it just stays a certain length. Am I doing something wrong? Any tips?

you didn't mention eating Ice cream. Everyone knows that ice cream wakes up the hair fairies in your head to.. *clears throat* ... do their thing to make your hair grow. But you have to believe in them. That's why only adults are bald. They don't BELIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVE!!!!

One of my roommates used to swear by that mane and tail shampoo, but when I used it I didn't notice any drastic change.

My hair tends to grow fairly fast. I wash it every day, and I don't use any hairsprays, dyes or chemical treatments. Not ****ing with it much seems to help.

I've always wanted to grow my hair out but it always gets to a certain length and I get annoyed with it and go "aw **** it" and get a haircut.

I sell a hair tonic. A little urine, black dye, and some mouthwash mixed together and it works wonders! Often sell it on the street corners.


But joking aside, I think there is no real way to make hair grow faster. It is genetics. I just hope you don't have too many bald relatives.

Ive never had my hair longer than around 6 inches. I hate the way it looks, and I get major bedhead that cant be fixed, and I look like a doofus if it gets longer than a few inches. I usually buzz it every month or two.

I've been growing out my hair for about two years now and it's gone from above my ears to maybe three inches below my shoulders in that time. I didn't do anything special or out of the ordinary... just washing it daily (with a few exceptions every so often) with a residue-free shampoo and brushing it gently after showering so it doesn't try to dread itself.

I think it's mostly genetics, but in theory since hair is made up of protein it may help if you consume lots of protein in your diet.

I can't wait to cut all of this off, frankly, but I doubt you intend to grow yours out this long.

And I don't know what's wrong with your hair. My used to grow out pretty fast. I went from bald to long in 3 months.

I let nature do it's thang. ...I can usually go from short hair to near-shoulder-length in about 6 months.

My hair gorws fast too, but I was once told that trimming it every few weeks stimulates growth.
