This is a horrible question because it doesn't designate the categorical nature of violent vs. nonviolent games or how it could differ from any game influence on development. But 2.

strategic and tactical depth, balance both in the sense of between the races and between the varying styles of playing, it requires mechanical skill on top of higher level thinking, it has a healthy competitive scene and i like the community.

Either stress relieving or engrossing, they're very entertaining in their own ways.

1 hour a day, 6-7 days a week.

The questions
1. How old are you?
20 (21 - April 21st)

2. What game(s) titles do you like to play?
Everything except sports games. Mainly fighting, action/adventure, and RPGs.

3. Why do you like those games?
Fun. Action games, when difficult, are almost adrenaline pumping. RPGs require some thought if played correctly and the story is usually just as good as one you'd find in any good book. Fighting would have to be my most preferred and most played, due to many friends who like the same games. If both players have mastered their character, and know ALL the moves and exactly HOW to use them, then it becomes a battle of will. And that's a battle that never gets old.

4. How long do you usually play it/them in terms of hours per day and how many times per week?
As much as I can. Alone only maybe 2-3 hours a day if I have time. With friends (Super Smash Brothers Brawl these days) upwards of 6 hours per "session" a few times a week.

Depends on the age and game. If you make a 3 year old play an uncensored version of Manhunt 2, he'll probably grow up traumatized. But I'd let that same kid play Streets of Rage. I'd say like 3 for this because of the different levels of violence in games. I've been playing games as long as I can remember and I think I turned out just fine. I think?
