They've sold me on a quirky killer in a madcap almost satire of a thriller, and if I don't get precisely that, I'll be disappointed, is all I'm saying.
I guess you'll be disappointed then, since the reviews coming back are saying this is incredibly brutal.
My main concern is that the trailer is overselling its comedy and undertoning its darker themes, while the actual movie might be the opposite and we've just seen everything quirky about this thriller in a 2 minute 17 second (!) trailer. Which would be sad and a waste of my money.
Here I thought that the 2:17 represented the total time for the movie.

That's all fine and well. Brutal is great in a movie like this, but I've been sold less on that and more on Michael Pitt acting curious and insane, and if he doesn't do enough of that in the movie, I won't be too thrilled with it.
