Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: THE MOVIE

Good news, they're making it into two parts so they don't have to cut out anything! Bad news: the hack director from the fifth and sixth films is coming back.

Good. I'm glad it will have all the camping and apperating and setting up protective hexes that the book had.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Didn't Alfonso Cuarón express interest in directing Order, Half-Blood, and Deathly?

      What ever happened to that?

I still haven't read the book. O HBP even though I bought it forever ago. And I haven't watched the GoF DVD which I bought a while ago too. Guess I've lost interest in the series.

I guess it didn't translate into actually getting to do it. I'm not surprised they went with this douche, though, since I figure getting these movies out on time and on budget is WB's chief concern and they can't afford to wait for directors to have time in their schedules to do a Harry Potter movie.

No, David Yates should be for making such a rushed job of Order of the Phoenix and should go back to making British TV movies.

**** the 5th movie. It was a bum-rushed less-than-Cliff's Notes version of one of the best books in the series. It was missing a ton of stuff that made the book great, and Umbridge was boring. All the great character development was missing. They basically changed Harry's entire dilemma in the book to be a boring and hackneyed cliche in the movie. Luna Lovegood was a Ritalin child.

Harry's angsty dilemma somehow became not boring and hackneyed in the book?

                      I must've missed that part.

I also liked the fifth movie. A lot. So screw you guys.

Yeah, Umbridge was a real *****, wasn't she? Other than that, the movie needed some work.

As for book 7... I read it in less than a day.

But none of the Harry Potter movies were really any good. Yeah, Prisoner of Azkaban was good but it's also my least favorite book of the series. I didn't go see the previous movies in expectation of quality, I went because it was Harry Potter.

What's the first movie gonna be about? Setting up tents? And more tents?
