      Re: Live Action Akira?

Well excuse me if I thought it was about some guy who just stumbled upon the old movie.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

        ADMINISTRATORS HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY COW

Edit: Also, in a semi-related note, I watched a horrible movie called "Mulva: Zombie Ass Kicker" a few weeks ago, and a guy dressed up as Vegeta was getting his arm torn off and he screams out of nowhere, "TETSUOOOOOOOOO!" which was so random and awesome that Mountain Dew shot out my nose, which was not so awesome.

If this "two-part epic" is cut where I think it is I will probably skip the giant psychic baby bull**** of part two.

Akira is one of those animes that is completely awesome up until it it gets really weird and retarded.

"At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."

                    *sigh* First DragonBall, now this?

Why must Hollywood wreck the classics?

                      DragonBall isn't a classic. It's a wreck.

                        Dragonball is a classic.

                        Dragonball Z is a wreck.

                        Akira Toriyama says so himself.

I was content to let my topic die considering it adds nothing to this one. Oh well. I wonder if this is a reaction to speed racer and we're going to see the same thing that happened to comic book movies after X-men.
