I just ended a 5 month relationship earlier today with my (ex)girlfriend. I feel pretty guitly since it's so close to the Holiday season, and it resulted in a very messy break-up. But hell man, that's why it's called dating. It's not like I was planning on marrying the chick.

So this is my question to all the Pavis out there: Are you "alone" this Christmas season; and how does that make you feel?

Edit Let me clarify: Do you have a girlfriend / boyfirend to spend time with this Christmas?

Yeah, but would you rather have had to stick with a dying relationship for several more weeks AND have had to fork out cash for her gifts just to keep it from looking like a jerk move? Your decision was the logical one.

As of now there's no relationship, but an old friendship JUST rekindled, and she's gotten really cute, so there's hope yet.

I have a boyfriend to spend the holidays with (well duh) but I am changing it up this year. I will spend my first Christmas back at home in B.C with my parents and friends since I moved out after graduation.

Guh. Well. I haven't told anybody, but my girlfriend and I split after over two years together a week or so ago. Neither of us can/wantsto move out, so we still have to share a room. And sleep feet away from each other. Ah kill me now.

Now I don't feel so bad. My (ex)girlfriend is giving me a huge guilt trip, but at least she's not sleeping feet away from me.
