Re: Germany moves to ban Scientology
I hope Germany makes all the scientologists wear arm bands and then puts them into camps, boy that'd be great.
Also, the KKK obviously isn't a religion in the way the word was being ascribed, I also wouldn't call a bunch of racists getting together a cult. You can pull up definition 5 from the free online dictionary to make yourself feel better, though.

Re: Germany moves to ban Scientology
Regardless of whether the KKK is a religion or not it has the right to exist. Remember people have the right to hate, and to spread that hate wherever they can. It's when they act on that hate and harm others that is dangerous and illegal. All the Klansmen and Scientologists in the world are alright in my book as long as they haven't attacked or mistreated anybody. And anyone who does attack or mistreat people is horrible whether they're part of some fringe group or not. People can think and feel whatever they please, it's actions that we govern.Last edited by DarkwingChuck; 12-07-2007, 06:32 PM.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

I move to suppress karrs rampant, and virulent bigotry towards proper capitalization because it has offended me personally.
All in agreement say yay.

gar123, Hitler was my great grandfather. I strive to be like him. He is in fact my hero. It's not nice of you to imply that someone so great is a bad guy. That's just ignorant gar123.
gar123, why can't we just get along? gar123? gar123? C'mon, gar123. I love you, gar123.

Re: Germany moves to ban Scientology
Well, Seraphim is Canadian, so it makes sense he wouldn't know as much about the KKK. They are no doubt not very prevalent up there; they love nothing more than railing against blacks and Hispanics, and Canada is the Great White North in more ways than one. Which kinda makes you wonder why more KKK people don't live up there, but I guess they wouldn't be happy if they didn't have as many minorities to pick on.Originally posted by Garr123 View PostI hope Germany makes all the scientologists wear arm bands and then puts them into camps, boy that'd be great.

I suppose that is more true then I had previously thought. Since I live in Toronto the percentage is very different. By 2017 nearly 23% of Canadians will be a visible minority according to the link below.Originally posted by Hrafn View PostWell, Seraphim is Canadian, so it makes sense he wouldn't know as much about the KKK. Re: Germany moves to ban Scientology
No stats, but I know blacks and Hispanics are both in the teens percentage-wise, and Asians may not be far off (not really sure), so it's definitely a fair bit higher, since that isn't even including smaller minorities like Muslims and Native Americans (who I think are only a couple percent nowadays).Originally posted by Karr Lord of Chaos View PostI suppose that is more true then I had previously thought.
