    That's not true...that's impossible!!!

Search your feelings, boy, you KNOW it to be true.

I've NEVER seen an AT-AT walking up stairs. First, those would have to be some HUGE stairs. An AT-ST, I could see. But most definitely NOT an AT-AT. AT-ATs are made to walk on snow...

Yeah, I know there were some on Endor, but still.....

can someone enlighten me please on how those could possibly be more effective?

Ive never watched star wars so maybe Im missing something
Because a giant walking machine makes more of an impact than one on wheels? Though, it isn't a logical choice.

Imagine how half of the manga/anime out there would be if all the giant robots were on wheels....

I didnt say it had to be wheels, perhaps airborne? that would make a bit more sense to me, but eh, guess it would make an easy target, but something on four legs does too, at least an airborne unit can move in 3 dimensions

I used to tease my younger brother by telling him he was hatched from the same egg as Jabba the Hut.

Re: The two legged walking power armors

Walking legs is good for unstable, or rough terrain that wheels cant access. But those AT-ATs man........They were just big slow moving targets waiting to be shot at.

but they had ****ing hovering/flying technology. Thats way more effective than any legs or wheels. I dont know why they didnt just make EVERYTHING hover. If Lukes porr ass family could afford to get that hovercar, why cant the Empire?

The AT-AT's were more a psychological weapon than they were a functional one.

A giant robotic animal crushing everything it walks across would lower the morale of your infantry pretty quickly, I think.

The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

But well armored ones! That's why they couldn't just shoot them. They needed cables and Luke's heroics to take them.
