    Re: Wildfires in Georgia

The only gas mask my work will supply me is those paper thin filters with the metal band accross the nose. Uncomfortable things. And they won't even hand them out either, you have to ask for them (which is retarded, given that they should care more about the health of their outdoor working staff).

BRB, gotta go wash the smell of smoke off my skin.
    ...and that's why.

I've always been sensitive to even the faintest hint of smoke (I once passed out at a concert when someone blew cigarette smoke in my face). I can't even sit in my own apartment without feeling dizzy, and when I walk to class, my lungs feel like they're on fire.

The smoke permeates everything. Even the clean clothes in my closet smell like smoke, and you can't walk outside for five minutes without getting a grimy layer of ash on your skin. Gross.

It does humor me to see the color of the sky sometimes. A mix of yellow, grey and red, with smoke so thick it blots out the sun. Very ominous, it is; almost...apocalyptic.
In the beginning the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and is widely considered as a bad move.
