What I mean is that God has revealed himself to man in various ways throughout time (in our limited scope of time, I mean).

But only in the time period covered by the bible. not after. awfully convenient.

I think there isn't a god in the sense of someone who created everything we see. But I do think there could be god like beings. In line of Star Trek.

All right, all right, I do kinda believe (at least when I take the time to remember it) in a supreme being of sorts, but call it "God" and I will take offense. Besides, the term "Great Spirit" (though I do not claim to know anything about that) would be more accurate.

Well, to me, calling another culture's deity "God" is imposing your terms on their religion. It also, in an extreme case, might imply that you're so used or wrapped up in your own beliefs that you can't comprehend there being something different.

Also, I've read some history, and I'm quite bitter about what happened in America after Columbus landed... what Christianity was back then.

I do not know if there is really a god but i belive there is reincarnation and i also belive that our souls will walk the earth if reincarnation isnt real
in my opinion the bible is full of lies. how can god have a son and never had sex with that women so that doesnt mean hes the father of jesus
valkysas i respect that your an athest and im proud but i still belive in a after life of some kind.a girl that i like parents died. Her mom died yesterday and her dad died a month ago
both from a car crash. I wonder where they went.If there is really a god.then i will be with him forever.The pavilion has a mixed religeons and i respect that.But i cant change what
people belive in.

I think just about everyone who went through college history 101 was educated on what happened in early America.

And I use the term god when I describe other religion's deities. It doesn't mean I'm imposing my god on theirs. It's just a three-letter term I use to describe a "supreme being."

God does exist. And he is completely fake. Poser!

My take on it is if an omnipotent benevolent god (or gods) does exist he's done an extremely crappy job with humankind which is supposedly his greatest creation so he must be pretty lame. I wouldn't want to worship an idiot like that. On the other hand if its ambivalent self-centered gods that toy with humans for the amusement, screw those bastards for messing with us. Either way we're better off without.
