I'll admit the number of posts impresses me (I've never started a thread this long). Even more so is how many posts a thread gets in a short time.

And as for worst TV show, I don't know much.
I do know that I really, really hate Spongebob Squarepants. I think it is incredibly stupid.

but then, it seems, most American cartoons that are funny are stupid.

I disagree on your Spongebob claim. It has silly humor, yes, but it also has something that draws an older audience, especially college students.

My vote for worst show ever goes to Eye For An Eye. It's one of those court shows except the judge isn't really a judge he's an accident lawyer from here in Charleston. He calls himself Judge Extreme Akim on the show and the audience pumps their fists and chants "Extreme Akim! Extreme Akim!" as he enters the courtroom. The show's hosted by Kato Kaelin and the bailiff is former boxer Sugar Ray Philips. The cases are so completely, stupidly, obviously fake but they claim it's all real. And instead of awarding money like a real court he hands down specific "justice". Like wrestling in pudding for an engagement ring or letting the plaintiff spray paint insults on the defendant's house. They do their best to pretend it's all real but it's entirely too stupid to be real. It's the most insulting to the audience's intelligence of anything I've EVER seen in my life. Google Video promo

I'm going with the MTV crap too. It's kinda sickening seeing all of these vapid, mentally bankrupt people get freakin' air time because that's what MTV thinks people want to see. And the worst part of it all is that, people are watching it!

Disney Channel is also responsible for some of the worst, phony, manufactured crap that's then force-fed to all of these young kids who don't know any better anyway, then they even have goddamn "videos" for Hannah Montana or whoever else is on their "tart of the week" list during their commercial breaks.
