Daylight Savings cutting off Internet? (help)

Since Sunday, I can't maintain a home connection for more than a few minutes. My internet keeps dying. Also, I can't access my router when this happens... upon further review I discovered my modem is perfectly fine, and it's the router that's having problems.

Could the early Daylight Savings effect this? Like I said, it JUST happened on Sunday and has been ongoing all week. (Linksys WRT54G router) If so, how do I fix it? I tried to go in and manually change the time on it to move forward an hour but it's still failing.

That's good and all, but I'm not asking how to set the time... I'm asking if that would be a problem and if so is there a way to correct it. Cause despite doing that, I'm getting like no internet activity and it's all the router.

My router pulls that crap sometimes. I just unplug everything from it and let it sit for about 5 or so minutes before plugging it back in and it works fine.

Oh sorry I figured you asking about daylight savings time was about setting the time.

Perhaps the router is going bad? Perhaps reinstall the software or try a direct connection and see if that works to see if it is in fact the router

As far as this is concerned I'm not too sure, I just did a search on your router and found that, heres a few more you can browse through, not sure any of these will help either or apply to you

I did, how did I know then that daylights savings time was mentioned in the MIDDLE of the post?

He asked if daylight savings time was the problem and how to fix it, so obviously if its a problem with DST then its a time problem, which is common sense after all, I dont think Id tell him how to reinstall the the driver, because if its a DST problem within the router then it wont work since they made DST fall on an earlier day this year and that the driver would still set itself by the old date

which reminds me, why not check for window updates on the DST change and check linksys to see if they have any updates from the recent DST change?

The daylight savings thing didn't work, then I tried screwing with some other settings and restoring factory defaults and that didn't work... then I restored factory defaults AND did the daylight savings thing and it seems to be ok now. Hopefully this fixes it.

cool, heres to hoping it stays working, nothing gets on your nerves like a jumpy IC
