It's hard to tell which articles are authentic extremist dribble and which aren't, considering the fact that Conservapedia frequently falls victim to kooky vandalism. And since Conservapedia lacks the great number of moderators Wikipedia has, it spreads like wildfire.
EDIT: WOW. I just got done rummaging around on this site. I love how anything science-related is summed up in one sentence, like "galaxy," "star," and "sun" (I couldn't help myself-- I searched for astronomy terms first ).
EVERYTHING in the site is pretty much like that. I clicked on random links about 20 times and only got maybe 2 pages that looked like encyclopedia entries. Everything else was basically word definitions.
I think they should rename themselves Conservadictionary.
Eh, this isn't anything different any of the other pedia sites that have cropped up after Wikipedia. Is this supposed to be a serious thing or just a big joke?
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I think this is a serious thing that the creators didn't realize was going to become just a big joke.
great honor for Fox because it showed how well it was presenting the real truth instead of the fake liberal version
Oh yeah, totally fair and balanced. Pfft.
All the kids who submitted articles to this site seem to come off as fresh-outta-Jesus-camp brainwashees.
The Conservapedia Commandments
1. Everything you post must be true and verifiable.
2. Always cite and give credit to your sources, even if in the public domain.
3. Edits/new pages must be family-friendly, clean, concise, and without gossip or foul language.
4. When referencing dates based on the approximate birth of Jesus, give appropriate credit for the basis of the date (B.C. or A.D.). "BCE" and "CE" are unacceptable substitutes because they deny the historical basis. See CE.
5. As much as is possible, American spelling of words must be used.
6. Do not post personal opinion on an encyclopedia entry. Opinions can be posted on Talkages or on debate or discussion pages.
You will only be blocked for violating command 5 if you repeatedly change words from American spelling to another spelling.
You heard 'em. You better learn to speak 'merican if you aim to post here.
Bah, I can't stop editing this post because I keep finding such ridiculous notions on this site:
a) Apparently, gravity is only a theory.
b) All kangaroos originate from the pair from Noah's ark.
c) Einstien's theory of relativity wasn't based on observation or experimentation.
Plus there's no way to create an account (I tried, so I could make a fitting entry of the "great American").
Conservapedia has since grown enormously, including contributors nationwide. Conservapedia already has over one-half the number of entries as the Oxford Dictionary of World History. Conservapedia is rapidly becoming one of the largest and most reliable online educational resources of its kind.
Yeah it seems like all sources are from other conservapedia links
This just sounds like some ignorant religious site
yeah, unicorns are still alive today, they hide in the islands of the the bermuda triangle and evil mermaids from the lost city of atlantis swarms the boats of anyone trying to find them
hey, I think I found something I can add to that unicorn page!
Fox News was started in 1996 in response to the other cable news channels which all had obvious liberal biases. Because of this, Rupert Murdoch decided to start a real new channel which would tell the truth. The success of Fox news over every other news channel is because it is fair and balanced. [1] It has many people on it who work to spread truth such as Sean Hannity who is a great American. [2]. Fox News is best because instead of just telling you what to think, they only report the news unbiased and then allow the viewer to decide. [3].
In 2005 the White House selected Tony Snow from Fox News to be the new White House press secretary which was a great honor for Fox because it showed how well it was presenting the real truth instead of the fake liberal version. [4]
Dumbasses. Rupert Murdoch produces that News Faux Pase drabble because he's
A.) Foreign
and
B.) Allowed to own American Media by registered members of the Republican Party.
Wake up, people! You're letting yourself be told what's right for America by a FOREIGNER who's protecting his investments! Anybody see the irony in that!? ANYBODY!? GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!
*Calms Down*
.. ... ...and besides, Since when was the last time anyone went to Fox for "real" news, anyhow.
...Oh, and Bill O'Reily needs to go back to fluff news. Nao!
