One of the songs remind me a bit of Echo and the Bunnymen.

Heh, "The Young Fool's Waltz" has a really unique sound. I like it.

I don't think it was intentional, it doesn't sound like the ocarina part, sounds like the part the guy with the music box plays. I liked what I heard, all the songs had the same theme or cadence or whatever it is I'm thinking of.

I'm downloading the tunes now. I like the new version of Nickels and Making Sense. I'll share more once I wake up and try to shake off this week-long illness...

Do you mean that we have our own unique sound or that all the songs just sound the same?

I liked all the tracks you've posted on your profile, especially Window Dressing. Any more?

Awesome. I think I might have prefered the old solo-highwind music, but still very good.

Yeah, I have a bunch more but can only post 4 at a time on myspace.

Is there any other place I can host songs for download?

All of them are really good; I really like Of Leverage or Magnetism. My only complaint is that the vocals could be better.

Hmmm... I listened to 'Young Fool's Waltz', and I would say that I like it. It's kind of sininster in a good way; a pleasant little surprise. It has a lot of potential. I know you obviously listen to a lot of Nirvana, but I think when you stretch your vocals in the song, it kind of drags the forward momentum and feels a little awkward. Eh, it's probably not what you're used to, but a more languid, even a little bit more animated approach would probably be more effective. Oh, and the little repreive at the end could probably use a little bit extra too. Handclaps would sound good, or I don't know, you could introduce a new instrument in that part of the mix to leave a stronger impression finishing things up.

I'll let you know what I think of the other songs when I have more time to put into it.
