Really? Which one?Originally posted by The Dark Jester View PostOne of the songs remind me a bit of Echo and the Bunnymen.
Do you mean that we have our own unique sound or that all the songs just sound the same?Originally posted by Owl of Parliament View PostI don't think it was intentional, it doesn't sound like the ocarina part, sounds like the part the guy with the music box plays. I liked what I heard, all the songs had the same theme or cadence or whatever it is I'm thinking of.

Hmmm... I listened to 'Young Fool's Waltz', and I would say that I like it. It's kind of sininster in a good way; a pleasant little surprise. It has a lot of potential. I know you obviously listen to a lot of Nirvana, but I think when you stretch your vocals in the song, it kind of drags the forward momentum and feels a little awkward. Eh, it's probably not what you're used to, but a more languid, even a little bit more animated approach would probably be more effective. Oh, and the little repreive at the end could probably use a little bit extra too. Handclaps would sound good, or I don't know, you could introduce a new instrument in that part of the mix to leave a stronger impression finishing things up.
I'll let you know what I think of the other songs when I have more time to put into it.
