Do you tolerate ****ty customer service?

I've been on the phone since 2:38 trying to get a hold of someone in electronics at Toy's R Us. It is now 3:07. At 2:52, someone picked up, and I asked if they had a certain game. They said hold on. And then they hung up on me.

    ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH.

Okay, they just answered for the second time, at 3:09. Turns out they don't have the game.

    **** GOBBLERS.

That's the kind of stuff that makes me never want to shop at a store again.

What is your patience level for poor customer service?

if they ask if I can hold, I tell them no. if they put me on hold anyways, I hang up, call back, and yell at them for it.

Hehehe, Toys R Us... Terrible place to call.

As a person who's job it is to be customer service, usually I give an initial benefit of the doubt, but after a second stupid, I decide they suck and post mean things on message boards.

I once ordered a pizza that came an hour and a half late. And, after arguing with an idiot for a delivery kid, I STILL had to pay for it.

Oh well, at least I didn't give him a tip.

Sometimes mistakes happen, and the customer has to chill the **** out.

But if it's truly ****ty customer service, don't make a big deal out of it. Just try to resolve the problem as fast and easily as possible. Yelling at the person or being a complete ***** isn't going to help anything, it's just going to cause more problems and delay the resolution.

I always try to keep my cool. That way there's a chance that they'll feel stupid and improve their performance in the future.

Toys 'R Us is a terrible place to call.

I figure, the person's getting paid money to do their ****ing job. Do it right, ****.

You guys HAVE worked in retail, right?

Normally there isn't some dude whose job it is to answer the phone, they've gotta be on the floor helping people who actually took the effort to come into the store to look for things. If the phone rings while I'm helping someone at work, I don't go "HEY THERE'S THE PHONE" and leave them hanging, they get higher priority.

Then again, any ToysRus is ususally deserted at any time sooo...

SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING SOMEONE WHOSE NEVER WORKED BEFORE WOULD ASK.

"HEY STORE WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER THE PHONE I WANT TO BUY YUR ANNIIIMMMEEEEEEEEEE"

WHAT? YOU AONLY HAVE DRAGONBALL GT?

                    I HATE YOU STORE

DK knows what I'm talking about.

Before you're able to shop, you should be required to work for a while at a ****ty retail store.

Sorry Magus, I just take my work seriously (which I shouldn't) and don't like people thinking I'm a bad worker cause the phone can't always be tended to.

Well, it sounds like it's Toys R Us's fault and not necessairly the employee, since they don't have any better way to handle phone calls.

But sometimes it's the employee's fault because they say "hold on please" and then never pick it up because they got interrupted or whatever and they leave you on hold for long enough that they hang up on you or some OTHER person answers and asks if you've been helped and then you remember that eveyrone is 16 years old who works there.

                          Except Dreamknight.

                          Dreamknight is old.

Agreed. I work in retail too, and customers can be impatient and stupid sometimes, just as well.

I had someone waiting 6 minutes for a price change for 7 cents who was very upset to say the least. Totally stupid if you ask me.
