I didn't say it isn't tripe. It's awful. Someone my roommate met in the professional world, a human being, told him about it. He said it was like Pokemon with tits.

We're watching it on and off for laughs. Sometimes when you're confronted with something so stupid, you start looking for the silver lining. Like, some of the voice actors are hilarious.
But yeah it's bull****, don't watch it.

Watch Dead Leaves. That's on Netflix.

I've finished the first season of Darker than Black and had a surprisingly good time with it. Very interesting take on the whole "super-powered people fight each other" schtick.

Series never got a "true" ending though, even after Gemini and the Manga. In the Manga a certain time traveler makes brief appearances, which raises all sorts of questions that never get answered.

Season 3 is supposedly in the works, but information is scant and nobody knows if it will cover the manga material, or finally conclude the series.

So how is Tokyo Godfathers? Just picked it up on DVD today from the JP import shop in the mall, and I'm pretty sure that my Satoshi Kon collection is now complete. I've heard (maybe from Mora?) that's it's a lesser work, but seeing as how there's only Perfect Blue, Millenium Actress, Paprika, and Paranoia Agent to compare against, that it's lesser does not worry me too much.
