But I don't think you should worry about it. Caciss is caciss which means he's a wanna be me which means he's a wanna be Ryner. There's a clone saga thing, don't ask.
I have no issues with you Draygone. In fact, I don't see your posts often.
And SHFC's comment about your gaming skills kind of fits with mine. In FFXII, I feel real weak compared to everyone else here, because I haven't found most of the rare stuff, or can't do ridiculous amounts of damage(heck I'm on my way to the garif, and no one in my party can do over 200 yet).
Power-leveling and buying all the best new equipment helps, along with going after nearly every mark that becomes available. Plus I wind up trying to explore the entire area and fighting every beastie that comes my way instead of going straight to the next area.
I find you incredibly annoying but it's not necessarily personal. You're the pavilion Butters. Every RPG you play there's always stuff that is soooooooo hard for you but is easy for everyone else. There always stuff you don't catch or miss out on. Practically every post you've ever made about Final Fantasy makes me go "no duh."
If we had an emote with one of those scribbly bubbles over its head, I'd be using it right about now. Yeesh, it's not like I get a constant stream of Game Overs when I play RPGs. I'm just not rediculously high-leveled, suped up with legendary equipment, or taking the time to use advantageous skills. Thus, I don't find nearly as many enemies to be complete pushovers. I just have to take the time to heal HP and bad status effects every two or three turns. That's why I say some battles are a challenge. It's because I had to do more than Hold X To Attack (tm) to win. Ark in FF9 was a pain because of its special attack that could potentially confuse my entire party. To me, that constitutes as a challenge. I'm sure there's some nice equipment that could prevent confusion or something, but I either haven't aquired it or am too busy gaining AP on my current equipment to bother. Zeromus was a pain in the PS1 version of FF4 because he used his most powerful attack almost every turn and my Cure 4 couldn't keep up with the damage without knocking out a couple members of my team, not to mention Rydia was useless since Zeromus seemed to counter every type of spell I threw at him. I'm sure I could have defeated Kefka in a single turn or two had I taken the time to go look for that uber-accessory that allowed my characters to attack ten times at once, but I didn't, thus dealing with his HP took longer which gave Kefka more time to throw his attacks at me, which is a little troublesome if he follows up that spell that reduces everyone's HP to 1 with something like Ultima before I get a chance to heal. That grassy dragon in the forest of FF12 just now gave me trouble because it uses an attack that causes confusion/blind/sap/silence/etc. all at once and I had to cure these status effects (with Remedy, of course) if I wanted to properly continue widdling down its HP. And I didn't use any magic spells against it other than Silence. Or was it Blind?
I swear, if this Pavilioncon ever happens and I get to go to it, I'm going to bring one of those RPGs that I have soooooooo much trouble with and show you just what sort of stats and options I have and which ones I even use. And when I beat one of those oh-so-difficult bosses on my first try, you all are going to go "I thought you said you couldn't beat this guy", to which I'm gonna reply "NO, I just can't beat this guy without having to worry a little about my health."
As far as missing details goes, the deal with Zidane and Kuja being trapped in the Iifa tree left me to assume that Zidane was gone (pfft, right) and everybody knew it, thus I assumed that everybody was reminiscing about Zidane, not that it was Vivi's letter. FF8 is a big mess of a story and I just took it all at face value. Beyond which I've only played completely through it once, plus another time before FF9's release that I was able to get to the Ragnarok, where my memory card got corrupted. I can't be expected to notice every little detail, and I'd appreciate it if I wasn't constantly ridiculed because I have a little more trouble noticing things than everyone else.
EDIT: To clarify, that isn't directed at you specifically, and I'm sorry if it seemed that way.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."
