IMO, Eragon is a FAIRLY DECENT book with no orginial ideas. Not as good as say, Abarat or the Elenium, but worth reading anyway.

Eragon only is worth mentioning for its author who wrote the story when he was 15.

He started writing it at 15. The version that everyone has read was written MUCH later.
