I'm not going to consider a chat room with the pavilion in the shape it is right now.

when we can go a month or two without database errors taking the entire site offline for days at a time, THEN I'll deal with a chat room.

Yes, the download counters for these titles will be lost. aside from the lost download counters, there will be no obvious difference.

Um couldn't you just write them down and make a side note some where for people who might care about these kinds of things?

No. If they want their downloads tracked, they can release a full game.

I'll keep demos in the database for about a month after submission, which will let them see what kind of attention their demo gets at release.
