There's a english hype page for Enterbrain's new maker.

On a semi-whim, I clicked the above link for the first time today, and come to find out that their forum just went live today. I made an account, but have yet to receive a validation email to activate it, and have no way to contact staff. I PMed Duel, who apparently is also a member, in order to let the admins know I'm having a problem, but to no avail as of yet.


Just wanted to let you guys know if you are interested in this, and it becomes as big as I think it might when it's released stateside, you might wanna register an account now.

I don't see it replacing the Pav as a "social" board for me, but I'm really looking toward getting this once it's out here, and possibly turn my decently expensive hobby (I bought a PS2, an Action Replay Max, and six memory cards, plus RPGM3 in order to make my own games) into something that MIGHT generate a bit of money (which is really secondary in my eyes to getting something onto the Xbox Marketplace and using it as a possible stepping stone to extricate myself from retail hell).

Key word in my above post is, POSSIBLE stepping stone. Meh. I need to set some semi-obtainable goal for myself (ie-making a game with the software and submitting it to the Xbox Creator's Club), lest I stagnate like I did this year.

I already got an idea for a shooter (Gradius/R-Type style). I hope it'll allow giant bosses.

Small update, seems there's sample games up and ready to try.

They're in Japanese, so if your system doesn't support East-Asian languages,
it's possible to receive some errors.

Finally, I can make a platformer! (Not a 3D one, but oh well.) Say that I can add some animation (anime style) then I shall be in heaven!

Well, it's out now.

I'm gonna wait a few months to see if they'll release
an English version before I go ahead and buy the Japanese one.

EDIT- Upon further investigation, there's an English patch for
the Full Japanese program.

Still gonna wait.
