Yeah, kinda late, but enterbrain has released a "fansite kit" for RPG Maker VX. Now let's all pretend to be really excited!!

Scroll down and click button. you get a logo, boxart, and screenshots. I have no idea what you could possibly do with that, but hey. it's something, and we're having a slow news year.

I have never in my life been this uninterested in an RPG Maker product. I just keep comparing it to the masterpiece that was RPG Maker XP, and it just falls horribly short. Why did they even bother making this? At least the mobile phone version had the benefit of letting you make your own portable games. and what did they do with that? hype the crap out of it for a solid year, and then disown it and erase all traces of it from their website. what the hell?

XP retails for around 100 in japan, VX will retail for the same.

Well, if I plan on getting a PC RPGMaker I'll try out the Vista Xylophone edition (If it comes to the USA). As a lot of the features you had to program in are now standered. Which is worth somthing right?

Don't like this one at all. I'll stick with RPG Maker XP. Hey maybe some japanese will use that fansite kit to make a nihongo RPG Tsukuru Pavilion! lol. Just kidding.
