I expect mass pandomonium when the PS3 hits us.

A Best Buy where I live is already seeing huge lines, camps, some portable barbeques, and makeshift tents. Reminds me of the Phantom Menace craze.

Anyways, to everybody who can get a PS3.......do enjoy it.

My bidding for 6 PS3s was a bust. Best Buy canceled my preorders, then they were slow on giving me my money back. Finally they were like, "Gee, we're really sorry about all that. Here, let us make it all up to you. Have a $10 online gift card."

Eh. Don't really understand the big deal about getting one right this very minute. Unless you are in the market to resell them. There ain't no games worth getting for it, meaning right now all it's gonna do is sit there and look pretty. No thank you.

Its pretty friggin amazing hat alot of them are up in the $2500-$3000 range on Ebay.

There's Resistance and Fight Night. Those are both good games aren't they? They're in genres that I don't even bother to touch so it doesn't matter to me but I'm just saying.

I was thinking of going up to the mall area yesterday (where the mall, Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Toys R Us, Circuit City, 2 GameStops, and a few other game/toy stores are within blocks of each other) and just see how many people are camping out for PS3s at all those stores. But it was easier just to go home right after class so screw it.

Congrats, Kire & Xeno. And hopefully you'll grab a PS3 soon Jeroak, Rick and anybody else who wanted one. Keep hope alive.

God, i love how you all make fun of people that want to get a PS3, to actually PLAY GAMES WITH IT!

And the making fun of me, is really getting old Mora. Stop it, or i'll show your picture around (i do still have it).

I was browsing the IGN boards a few minutes ago, and i just dont get these people that are buying PS3's and want to sell it. There are like 4 or 5 games already available that i want (even if they arent all AAA games), and even though i can only afford 1 game right now, it still doesnt make me STUPID for not wanting to sell it.

Hey, did anybody know that the whole top panel of the PS3 with the SpiderMan font on it is a removable faceplate? That'll look pretty sweet when some cool replacments come out for it.

This is funny. PC Gamer went to the Official PS3 US Launch site in SanFran to convert a line waiter to PC gaming. They gave away a Falcon Northwest computer in exchange for signing a contract swearing to never own a PS3 and will be checking up on him several times a year to make sure he sticks to it.
