I'm going to ramble a bit.
After all the things sony has done to anger me, like slaughtering my favorite video game import site, I had declared that I would NEVER buy a PS3. But I just realized I'm going to need a PS3 because of the RPG Maker Pavilion.
We don't know what system the next RPG Maker is going to be for. I am pretty sure I know, but its not for certain yet, and there's no guarantee that if one doesnt show up on the PS3 first, that one won't come along later. I cannot be stuck without a system that the next RPG Maker may find it's way to.
There's other things that are going to be very important to do with this site when the PS3 is released. Someone has to test the max drive on it, and even if the max drive works, someone has to convert every single RPG Maker 1, 2 and 3 file on this site to whatever format the PS3's virtual memory cards use. Doing this will ensure that people just won't need file transfer devices anymore, and can freely download RPG Maker games straight to their system. I also like the idea of having every single RPG Maker game ever released on my system at one time as well.
... the things I do for this community. *sigh*
Jeroak, if you're reading this, which I'm sure you are (while laughing), say something, ANYTHING that will somehow make this seem like a good thing to me. If anyone can make me like the damn thing, I'm sure its you.
EDIT: Arg! I just realized the PS3 won't be compatible with RPGM1 games that use more than one card(example: one system, two scenario, and one art card)! the virtual memory card system only allows for two memory cards to be loaded, and thus does not allow card-swapping!
