Look, dude, I never expected the FFXII thread to be revived and turned into a chair-flinging debate over the FF series anyway. It was only supposed to be about FFXII. Just got out of hand, is all.

The big V is right. The scope of the Final Fantasy series shouldn't be discussed in a little thread that's only about ONE GAME. Final Fantasy has always been a source of controversy amongst people and fans--hell, my friends and I here fight about it from time to time, you know? There are those that like it, those that hate it, and those that .... well, find it so-so. I've heard the praises. I've heard the ********. I've heard it all. You wanna know MY PERSONAL opinion on the series. I just like it. That's all. I ain't got a beef with the stuff that they tack on, or how the characters look like the dudes from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy or nothing like that. What matters to me, GOEMON, is that I grew up playing the Final Fantasies, and they got something on me. I just like the games. I buy them, I play them, I enjoy them, and I beat them. That's all there is to it.
