Trust me, this will be more fun than actually going to the dentist.

1. Do you still have all of your permanent teeth?

No. When I was eleven I had my left "bucktooth" knocked out in a playground accident. I have a bridged fake tooth attached to the adjacent teeth now.

2. Do you still have or did you ever have wisdom teeth?

All four of my wisdom teeth have been removed. One of my wisdom teeth was impacted and growing under the tooth next to it. It took 45 minutes to remove that tooth, and the dentist had to shave part of the tooth next to it. It was no fun at all.

3. How often do you brush (if not too personal)?

Almost everyday.

4. How often do you floss (if not too personal)?

Not very often at all.

5. How many cavities do you have?

Four. Apparently that's not very many for someone that is 25.

6. Did you ever have braces?

Yes. I wouldn't have needed braces, but the impact of having one of my permanent teeth knocked out crowded the teeth on both sides. I only needed braces on the top.

7. What is your favorite part of going to the dentist (if applicable)?

Friendly dentists. My dentists are actually pretty good.

8. What is your least favorite part of going to the dentist?

Getting impressions. If anyone else has ever had these, they know that they gag the crap out of you.

Yes. Kinda. I've had 2 extra teeth pulled out of the roof of my mouth. I'm a mutant.

Had all 4. They were pulled in a bloody mess, which I had to return to the dentist to stop the bleeding.

Almost everyday.

4. How often do you floss (if not too personal)?

I don't really, but I jab my electric toothbrush between my teeth and to get at my gums. It works, I think.

5. How many cavities do you have?

None, never had one.

6. Did you ever have braces?

Had braces from 7th grade to 12th grade. This is why I'm used to being an outcast.

7. What is your favorite part of going to the dentist (if applicable)?

The feeling after it's all done. So fresh and so clean!

8. What is your least favorite part of going to the dentist?

The scraping and bleeding, being told, "yer really bleeding here." NO ****!!! That's what happens when you jab my gums a billion times with a sharp instrument.

Yeah.

I had one that was infected so I took them all out. Fun fact I only had three wisdom teeth, the bottom left one never grew. Not like it didn't grow out but there's no tooth, even on the X-ray. Just more evidence that I am more evolved than the rest of humanity.

3. How often do you brush (if not too personal)?

Almost everyday there abouts. Sometimes I'll just swish some mouthwash around and call it a night.

4. How often do you floss (if not too personal)?

Almost never. I have those little floss things where one end is floss and the other is like a toothpick and I'll use those occasionally.

5. How many cavities do you have?

I'm going to assume you mean have you had and not do you have currently. Technically I've had a bunch because at one point nearly all my teeth had cavities near the bottoms because of not flossing but those weren't really cavities just weak enamel. Other than that I've had around four or five that I can remember.

6. Did you ever have braces?

No, my dentists have said that I don't need them. My current one says that he wants to hook me up with some of the invisible ones to fix the gap in my teeth but it's more cosmetic than anything else. Regardless it's going to have to wait until I can get dental insurance againl.

7. What is your favorite part of going to the dentist (if applicable)?

First, of all my dentist is cool as hell. Just a neat guy. Second, he's got a hot dental assistant.

8. What is your least favorite part of going to the dentist?

That orange stuff they put on your teeth that tastes like crap.

Yeah, had them removed right before summer. I had a retainer to wear over the summer, but now I only have to wear it at night.

Getting done. It feels good if they just haven't tightened your braces.

When I had braces, it was getting them tightened. It was also the impressions. That gunk nearly made me barf.
Also, it hurts if you have to have teeth pulled. A lot.

That sharp hook they use to clean out that crap between yer teeth.

Yeah, I hate that thing. But now my dentist has an automatic sharp hook thing that vibrates and shoots water at the same time. It gets water everywhere and it hurts when it bumps the gums. Then my dentist STILL had to go in with the manual hook to get some of the tartar. Apparently I don't brush the gums well enough, which is entirely true.

No. A front, bottom, incisor was chipped in half when I was in 7th grade.

Only one is growing in on the top left side.

Not much.

No. My teeth are not that uneven, but there are 2 or so spots that could be straightened more.

Talkative nurses.

Root canals. The last and only 1 Ive had was 3 1/2 hours long. I also hate the drills, especially the finer ones.

Nope. I lost some back molars due to the complete incompetence of my childhood dentist, who screwed up six of my other teeth by putting two upper caps on wrong.

Had 'em all yanked when I was 16. I didn't need to remove the other two but I just said "**** it, let's get this over with."

At least once a day or more.

Every day or every other day. It's REALLY important if you want to avoid future problems.

5. How many cavities do you have?

Several, probably. I haven't checked in years because of lack of health/dental care. Now that I have health care again, I should be able to get help. :P

No, but my siblings did. They had great teeth that were crooked, I had bad teeth that were perfectly straight.

Leaving.

Everything. I have some sort of resistance to most all of the painkillers they use, so I can almost always look forward to an excrutiating amount of pain anytime I go for something that requires any sort of "work."

They pulled all of my wisdom teeth, and yanked out four more to get my teeth straightened at the end of having braces. So right now, I only have 24 teeth.

Umm....not often enough.

Rarely.

Probably about 6 or 7.

I had them when I was in jr high/early high school. The thing that sucked most about braces, besides the pain that your teeth endure for a day or so whenever they tighten them, is not being able to eat corn on the cob. I had to use a knife and cut all the corn off and eat it with a fork.

7. What is your favorite part of going to the dentist (if applicable)?

Is there supposed to be a favorite part? I haven't been for 2 years (no insurance), and before that, I had not been for probably 10 years.

8. What is your least favorite part of going to the dentist?

The scraping they do with that little curved hook thing, and the subsequent bleeding of the gums.

Yep. All 28 of them.

I had them, but there was no room in my mouth for them to grow, so they had to be surgically removed when I was 17. It was pretty awesome, the orthodontist looked like Mark Hamill and I was so stoned off the anesthetic and painkillers that after I was brought home I lay in my room propped up against pillows and stared at the wall for hours and hours. I completely lost track of time, and drifted in and out of sleep. My Mom said that it worried her, but I look back on it and think it's pretty damn funny.

Every day, twice if I find time or remember.


4. How often do you floss (if not too personal)?

Every day.


5. How many cavities do you have?

I'm not sure. I'd say two or three.


6. Did you ever have braces?

Nope, although when I went for my wisdom tooth appraisal, the orthodontist asked me "Have you ever had braces? Your teeth are perfectly straight."


7. What is your favorite part of going to the dentist (if applicable)?

Talking to my dentist, who is a really nice person. I've been going to the same dentist since I was in elementary school.


8. What is your least favorite part of going to the dentist?

The hygenist hums cheerily while she jabs my gums with the hook. It's annoying AND painful!

Yeah. Had 'em for two or three years. Whatever it was it was way longer than the 6 months they were supposed to be on. Grade 7ish through to grade 10.

Metal things scraping against my teeth. Oh, and having a numb face. I love having a numb face.

Enjoying the taste of the floride stuff but not being able to swallow it.
