i dont think its gonna happen, i know people have been willing to spend $59 for games, but i'm not really sure how willing people will be to spend $69 or more for games.Vita, 3DS, PSP, PS3, PC, WiiU, Wii & 360

I don't see how this would change anyone's mind one way or another. If you've already spent the $1,000 on a high-def TV and had no problem spending the $700 on the PS3, you're not going to start pinching pennies on games that are $10-15 dollars more expensive. It's clear Sony's targetted a high-end niche market as opposed to the broader cross-section of the gaming populace that the PS2 appealed to.
If you factor in inflation, the SNES games at $70 cost much more. The current price in new games is something most gamers would be able to swallow if the entry into the market didn't start at 700, with a high-def TV being mandatory if you want to consider that 700 well-spent.So you're a fish out of water...
