I noticed not a lot of Pokemon topics here. And the Pokemon world just got updated a few more times after my last topic crashed and died a horrible postless death, but Pokemon news should be posted sometimes.

Anyway, Diamond and Pearl are really shaping up to be really good DS games. I smell the death of the PSP when these are released.


*Roselia gets an evolution (Forgot the name)

*Electabuzz gets an evolution (Elekible)

*The starters are a grass hippo/turtle, a fire monkey and water penguin

*Shino has an underground world where secret bases will be kept

*A little co-op mini-game in the mentioned underground

*Biggest region ever in a Pokemon game

Death of the PSP?

doubtful. a game like Pokemon isnt going to take anything away from the PSP because it targets a completely different audience. I like the Pokemon games, but seeing as how i havent completed one since the original Red, i doubt Pokemon is going to take too much time away from my PSP and other systems.

Personally, i wish i had more variety in the choices of starting Pokemon too, and DAMN they better ramp up the graphics a bit more.

you can trade with fire red, leaf green, ruby, sapphire, and emerald. so any old pokemon you want will be available. there's online trading as well.

and death of the PSP? nah. While it will give the DS a HUGE boost in sales just like when nintendogs came out (but this will be much larger), The only thing that can kill the PSP is lack of publisher support. The PSP may not have as much support from publishers as the DS does, but as long as key companies like capcom, square and konami are sticking with it, it'll survive just fine. The PSP has some heavy hitters (More than the DS has on it's way) coming soon too, which will give it a big boost in sales as well.

Mystery Dungeon Blue for the DS has all of them. That might be your kind of game.

More people are hanging on my "death of PSP" statement. Let's get some more talk about Pokemon please?

Anyway, I think the male trainer looks creepy and skinny. Is Nintendo trying to incurage(sp?) G.I.R.L over the internet by making the trainer look like he just got his manhood took from him? At least Brendan looked crazy. And Red looked like he didn't give a damn.
