Huh. Never would've thought Gamefly rented out games like this.

Anyway, asking how to make an OK is a pretty vague question. What exactly do you want to create?

well the story i have is a 100 years ago a angel sealed up the evilness in the world, turned evil, freed the demons, and you have to go stop him as you are his descendent.

I want to make it exciting i guess.

I'm confused, are you asking for help with your story or help with how to make the game, or both? You didn't mention anything about knowing how to make events or monsters or towns so I'm not sure where to start helping you. Have you figured those out and just didn't mention them or do you not understand those?

i dont know how to do events or any of the stuff i didnt list. And i need help with the actual making of quests, NPCs and other stuff. When i mess with it. it says i cant test it.... turning out to be a big dissapointment, yet then again, my feeble brain might have to get used to all this

Once you make a starting feild, or a town, you need to set up a place where your main character is going to appear. Go into Story Settings, set up a starting position, and a starting character(make sure you assign a class to that character) and then you should be able to start. If you have one ready, you can even assign a story teller to play at the begginning.

Another thing to do would be to read the manual if it came with one (not sure how these game renting places work) it's actually pretty helpful. And you can read this thread by hito - http://www.pavilionboards.com/forum/...ead.php?t=5659

Just take your time with it. This game really isn't one that can be rented for a short period of time, seeing as it takes a while to get a full game together. I've had it for over a year and I'm just figureing out the basic stuff I can do with it.

Start on the simple things. Like getting people to move and talk. Then you can start to work on the more advanced options. It's a learning process, so take your time, don't rush, and above all have fun.

Maybe you should work on a sample or test game first.

EDIT: PLus there's alot of explanations on here that tell you how to do stuff, so look through the forum if you have a specific question and if you can't find what you're looking for, then make a topic about it.

You cannot create an event under the menu heading of story and settings. You have to create the event in layout mode and place it somewhere for it to show up on this other menu. Once it's placed, you can then go to the event sub-menu and edit the event from there.

did the rented game come with an instruction manual?

Cuz thats how I learned all of the basics...

Also, check out the sample game.
