I was supposed (or rather just encouraged) to write some reviews and stuff. But I still haven't because I'm lazy and unfocused and blah blah. Anyways, I'd probably get some reviews done if it was an assignment. So if you want me to review a particular game (RM 1, 2, or 3) whether it's yours or just one you loved/hated tell me. I'll post when I start on each one and if I still don't have it completed one week later you may inflict some sort of Pavilion appropriate punishment on me. Or just nag me until I finish it. Whatever works. I just need something to do but I can never seem to motivate myself without outside interference.

Re: Tell me what to review.
Can you do previews? I'm done feeding my ego with Jester's Hunt, and need some motivation to get back to work on Slayers' Reign. It's pretty outdated (sometime before June 2003), but it's over an hour in length, so it should be worth the time."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Re: Tell me what to review.
I played the PS demo a long time ago. I guess I'll replay it to get it fresh in my mind but I do remember I liked it.
I actually did the Eternal Retardia 2 review a few days ago but I forgot about it. So here it is.
-----------------------------------------
Eternal Retardia 2: Sons of Puberty
by John Mora
I usually avoid "comedy" RM games because most of them just aren't as funny as they're trying to be. But Mora asked me to review Eternal Retardia 2 so I did. I didn't play ER1 and don't know the first thing about it so I was worried I wouldn't understand Sons of Purberty.
Anyway, I've played it now and I enjoyed it. First off it was about ten minutes long so I didn't have time to get tired of it or really even to get into it. Most of the jokes are what you'll find in every other comedy RM game: sexual innuendo, making fun of RPG cliches, and Pavilion inside jokes. But some of the stuff is actually kinda clever like the phone call from Mora that sends Eugene on his adventure and Badly Translated Town. And you can't beat a game built around the fetus trade. Yeah, all this in ten minutes (probably less).
Due to the extreme shortness there isn't much to do and not a single battle. At the end when you think you'll finally get to kill something, you still don't. The design of the few areas is minimal. There's nowhere to explore and nothing to be gained in trying. Eternal Retardia 2 was obviously thrown together very quickly but it can be played even quicker. It has a few good jokes in it and knows how to shut up long before it gets annoying.
Score: 4/5 - One point deduction because the bad guy's explanation at the end should've been a cutscene, so I could see him keep blowing up the cat.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

Re: Tell me what to review.
BTW I am still going to do the other review requests. I've just gotten sidetracked by The Movies.
EDIT: Nobody's punishing me for completely failing at my one week per review promise. Hell, I've only done one so far. Although, to be fair I got a little stuck on Slayer's Reign. Anyways, onward and upward. I'll have Slayer's Reign's review tomorrow.Last edited by DarkwingChuck; 06-23-2006, 09:40 PM.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

Re: Tell me what to review.
Hey, guess what. I completely forgot about this. But I did write a review for Whispers in the Woods. I sent it in but I don't really know how reviews are handled on the site. It's a bit long so I'm reluctant to post the whole thing in here but I can't think of a better way to do it. Anyways, I need to restart Slayer's Reign as soon as I find my PS1 mem card so I can review that and get back on the requests.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!
