Remakes you want to see happen

New Mario and Megaman Powered Up got me thinking about what I'd love to be seen redone in all out 3D glory. I want to see Ninja Gaiden 1 through 3 for SNES redone and released on the PSP. They probably won't do it because it conflicts w/ their current X-Box storyline, but they were so GOOD!! Well, moreso the story of 1 and 2, but still...I LOVED those games. It had an excellent 2D flow to it that was just a joy to play through...much the feeling I got playing Powered Up, which reminded me of it. I know you can unlock these games in Ninja Gaiden Black, but damn, they deserve to be remade.

Anyone else NES Ninja Gaiden fans? What games would you like to see remade?

Ninja Gadien always wanted to be Castlevania.

I'd love to see a remake of Castlevania III.

Like many other pathetic fans, I want Konami and Team Silent to remake the first Silent Hill.

I would also kill for a new-school Actraiser or Parodius game.

Come on now...while the original Castlevania led the way for 2D actioners, Ninja Gaiden played way faster and had more platforming elements, and Castlevania really had no story. I'd love to see the Gaiden Cutscenes redone, because it was the first time I'd ever seen cutscenes used in a game.

That's pretty dumb.

Not to mention Castlevania ended up "wanting to be Metroid".

I loved the Ninja Gaiden games but the end bosses were IMPOSSIBLE.

Yea... if any of those games were remade, I'd cream my pants instantly. I almost creamed when I learned that LAND STALKER was being remade for the PSP.

There was a sequel/remake for the DS that looked FRIGGIN AWESOME but it was "indefinitely postponed." Something about a publisher. Do a search on it at Wikipedia; when I heard of the game last year I almost lost bodily functions and I cut my wrists when I heard it wasn't being released. It looked really cool.
