Dont let your eyes fool you! This super-hero is not just some man in a silly outfit! With his magical "mullet-of-doom", he can quickly and easily put out fires, save cats from trees, walk old ladies across the street with ease, stop filthy bank robers, and above all, guzzle down 5 gallons of 100% SAMUEL ADAMS hot broozky!

But no, he wasnt always like this! It all started in his luxurious 15 foot long trailer! As he sat there stroking his golden "mullet-of-doom", it began to glow! He pondered what had sparked this phenomenon, and created this master peice that all red-necks would drool over. He had always dreamed when he was a little boy, that he would have the most magnificent mullet, to become a god amoung heros, to be THE mullet man! It started when he was just a boy, looking up at the stary nights-sky that illuminated with a pulsing blue aura, a shooting star flew overhead. His eyes glistened with opportunity as he made a single wish: "I wish, on mah pa and ma, and mah horse charlie, that i could one day have the most amazing mullet of allllll timeeee!" And so after many years of stroking his beard and dipping it in the finest chewing-tobacco, he became....THE MULLET MAN!

THE PEDOPHILE-WITH-A-HEART-OF-GOLD-AND-FIST-OF-PURE-ANTI-EVIL MAN!!!

One day while exposing his privates to small children at the playground on his way to the relay for life walk-a-thon he had put together, one small child with only one tooth and clumps of hair missing bit onto THE PEDOPHILE-WITH-A-HEART-OF-GOLD-AND-FIST-OF-PURE-ANTI-EVIL MAN's privates and after much gumming and innapropriate sighs of pleasure the snaggle toothed boy eventually broke the flesh with his one tooth. Instantly THE PEDOPHILE-WITH-A-HEART-OF-GOLD-AND-FIST-OF-PURE-ANTI-EVIL MAN yanked away and gave the small boy a lolipop. Little did THE PEDOPHILE-WITH-A-HEART-OF-GOLD-AND-FIST-OF-PURE-ANTI-EVIL MAN know, the boy lived near a toxic waste dump in a trailer with his family(All of whome died mere days later from radiation poisoning), and was bestowed with magic powers which seemed to only appear as small case of scabies on his hand. While scratching on it one day near a fellow volunteer at the homeless shelter he helped at who was trying to steal funds from the donation box, pus splashed on the man and he melted where he stood. Needless to say THE PEDOPHILE-WITH-A-HEART-OF-GOLD-AND-FIST-OF-PURE-ANTI-EVIL MAN was stunned and decided to test this theory further, he rubbed pus from his hand on a satanist, a terrorist, and an athiest, all of whom melted instantly. THE PEDOPHILE-WITH-A-HEART-OF-GOLD-AND-FIST-OF-PURE-ANTI-EVIL MAN did not act on his super powers quite yet, only when a local super-villain decided to attack a bank one day and scare away the small boy he was coercing a into the back of his ice-cream truck did he decide to use his powers. He fought the man and from that day on, he was, THE PEDOPHILE-WITH-A-HEART-OF-GOLD-AND-FIST-OF-PURE-ANTI-EVIL MAN!

Oh yeah.

Dr. Murderdeathkill

In early 2007, while in prison, Dr. Jack Kevorkian fell in love with his cellmate Harry Carrey (Jim Carrey's brother). After they escaped from prison they moved to Canada where they could be legally married and began a family. They decided to have a son and dug up and reanimated the body of Terry Schaivo to use as a surrogate. As soon as the baby was born he killed both his fathers. The shock of childbirth brought Schiavo fully back to life and even cured her of her catatonic state. The baby then killed her too. Throughout it's life the baby went on a mad rampage killing exactly twelve people every day. He wanted to kill more but he had a severe case of triskaidekophobia. In between massacres the young man (who was never named since he killed all his parents) earned a medical degree and graduated suma cum laude from the distance learning branch of DeVry Institute. His weapon of choice used to be a huge scythe that was actually just the crank handle for his Suicide Machine but he has since upgraded to an automated suicide phone hotline at 1-888-545-5633 and a website at ImTooStupidToLive.ca. He also commands YouthInAsia, a horde of ghouls resembling undead japanese children such as those seen in movies like Ringu and Ju-On. You might think he sounds like a villain but he's acutally a hero because he only kills people who want to die, are suffering terribly, are entirely too stupid to live, or are just extreme douches. Therefore he is the greatest hero of all time to those of us left to a world without all those useless bastards and we refer to him affectionately as Dr. Murderdeathkill or Bob for short.

D2, no real deadline, once i think enough people have posted a character, then i'll make a decision based on their concepts. So far, there are only 3 entries, and i was hoping to have more to judge from.

I'm gonna give it a few more days, and if there arent more entries, then i'll make a decision then.

I'm changing some stuff, to hopefully garner interest from people who already have CoH. There will be 2 copies of CoH, and 1 copy of CoV. CoV will go to a person who already has CoH if they post a winning character idea(and doesnt already have CoV).

Postulate Man!

Ex-pro wrestler Chad Stewart was on his way home from another beat show. The heat was unbearable and the flies were swarming around his sweat drenched body. As he was strolling through the park, he heard the scream of a woman, and noticed a young punk with a green mohawk running his way. As he realized what was going on, he clotheslined the youngster, and fetched the purse.
"What are you some sort of super hero?" The boy asked. As he still had his wrestling costume on, he seemed a rather outlandish character, with a large horned P in the middle of his chest. After a short conversation with the boy, and memories of his own high school days, he realized that if the kids were in school, this crime would not be a problem.
Thus, he went home and tried to brainstorm. The kids needed a hero to encourage them. He already had the muscles, and he had the costume, what he needed was a message. He took the worst subject in school, mathematics, and tried to liven it up. How could he, though? He took his vast array of wrestling moves and aptly renamed them.

With a large P on his chest, it seemed Postulate Man was the name he could use most, with his geometrics of superdom. Standing for truth, justice, math and looking good, Postulate Man is watching out for not only the youth of America, but the weak and victimized. But only during the day because he's got to do things. And definitely not on thursday. That's just not a good day.

I have alot of heroes on CoH. Dunno if I could possibly do em all. But anyway I'll start out with the first one I ever mad eon CoH, that being:

Real Name: Lina Mei
Age: 16

Lina was found by the Paragon City officials in a charred building belonging to a well known scientist named "Justan Mei". Surviving the fire, with naught but a scratch (physically at least), his grandaughter is his only known relative. The tragedy’s effect has led her to be shy and closed off. Her counselor, taking notice of her strange powers, advised her to seek an outlet for her pent up emotions: hero work. Though hesitant, Lina stepped into the stange new world of super heroes. Her power to manipulate raw forms of light and transfer it into energy shields and force blasts led her to christen herself Fluorescent.

As the story goes, Fluor as I call her, is supposed to meet another older hero whom I had read about in the CoH backstory called Luminary. Luminary has light powers same as Fluor and as you might guess, Luminary ends up being Fluor’s parent. (But obviously, if anyone has seen Luminary, then you know that couldn’t work). I wanted the parent to be a father figure, who didn’t even know that some woman out there had born his child and left it in "Justan Mei’s" care.

But beforehand is the fact that when she sets off as a superhero, she kinda flubs it big time. Fortunatly she ends up getting saved by Lady Freesia (another one of my creations) and is asked to join a Supergroup which at the moment I can’t remember the name of. It causes a lot of strife amongst the team though, sparking a debate on whether minors should be superheroes.

In anycase this whole Supergroup would be comprised of the characters I created for CoH. Thing with CoH though, character creation is a blast so it can be hard not to get carried away.

Of course there was a reason why Justan's house was burned. His house was actually his lab and he was working on some highly sophisticated robots. Of course there were some people interested in his work...

Needless to say, "Linabot" turned up awhile later.

A recent raid of a Skull Warehouse by a team of super powered heroes resulted in the recovery of this robot. It was taken to the city’s technological department for study. Memory scans were inconclusive as to the identity of the robot as many security safeguards of the highest quality had been programmed into it’s CPU. It was decided to question the robot itself and so the permission was granted to turn it’s power on.

Upon boot up, the robot identified itself as Prototype X034 Codename "Linabot". It also stated it’s purpose, to protect "Lina Mei" from harm. It also had another objective built in. Apparently the owner had been testing it as a crime fighting device and thus the City decided to use it for the very same purpose. It’s original objective though, seems to be it’s first priority.

Case files have identified "Lina Mei" as a costumed superhero named "Fluorescent". Before she could be contacted however, the robot decided to move on it’s own and set out into Paragon City.

"The cry of a little girl. My scream. And then I came into form. I used to reside in the body of Lina Mei, but I’m sure all of you know her as Fluorescent. Oh yes. She is me and I am her, although she doesn’t want to admit it. She doesn’t even want to remember my existence, because to her I am just an embrarrassing reminder of the dark thoughts she never wanted to embrace. She acts innocent, wields the forces of light and pretends to be a hero. But I know. She doesn’t want those creeps who killed her grandfather to go to jail. She wants to put an end to their own pitiful lives. She… I want them to suffer.

Lina you denied my existence. You and your so called path for justice. And what is that? I’ll show you. I can do it better. Yes, I’ll be the hero. I’ll be a good girl. And I’ll find those animals that killed gramps. And the Fluorescent, I’ll show myself to you. And we will finally find who is strongest.

Your powers of light Fluorescent. My powers of darkness. Can you defeat yourself? For I am Ekhlipse. And I shall drown out your existence. "

(Ekhlipse is Lina's split personality. While Ekhlipse is aware of who she is, Lina however is not. Ekhlipse was born in Lina's psych after the brutal fire. Her bottled up fear, rage and hatred towards the men responsible bore this dark entity. Although made on CoH, Ekhlipse is meant to be a CoV character. There will be a day when Fluor and Ekhlipse battle each other one on one.)

Then there came the Archer class. Lemme tell you when that first started out on CoH, there were elves and archers left and right. LightArrow, straight Arrow, The Silver Arrow, bow guy, you get the idea. I wanted to check out the archer class too, but confound it, the dilemma was how to set the hero apart from everyone else creating an archer. Who else was known to use bows? And then it was simple:

Real Name: Chhawi Nalini
Age: 18

Although Chhawi has lived in Paragon City all her life, her lineage actually travels backwards to a tribe of Cherokee Indians. Her family still practices the old ways and customs of the tribe, with Chhawi being no exception. However, she had one passionate desire: to become a hero of Paragon City. Even at the age of ten, she wanted to fight beside the city’s legends. But she could only watch on the sidelines, as she was a as normal an everyday girl could be. But her heart knew that somehow it was her destiny.

Then her grandfather came to her one night with a vision and told her that she was to fight a great evil one day in Paragon City and save it from utter destruction. And then she received from him a bow, the bow passed down from father to son with every generation. Chhawi knew then that her path was set. Her skill with a bow was unmatched. Plus, she spent time working in an electronics shop and was very good at creating new things.

Her grandfather, remembering how she had raised a pair of baby foxes abandoned in Perez Park when she was younger, labeled her "Foxtail".

Of course, if I ever get her high enough, there will be another reason for that name. She'll be able to "call upon the ancestral spirit of an animal: a fox" and use it's abilities. (In CoH's case she'll become super fast.) She'll also get a new costume, where she'll actually look like a fox.

My main character in CoH is on Freedom, his name, The Blue Buster!

Bio:Tired of all the crime going on in Paragon City since the arrival of the Rikti, Jason Jordan decided he wanted to make a difference in the world.

Training in martial arts, and disciplining his mind and body to the peak of human performance, Jason Jordan set out in Paragon City to make a difference.

After being severly wounded in a battle against the Clockwork, Jason took the parts from their bodies, and forged super strong gloves and boots, which made them extremely durable but lightweight. Using that alloy to weave into his clothing, he ceased to be Jason Jordan, and became The Blue Buster.

But, over time, the clockwork alloy has started to alter his body...

Once Issue 7 comes out (which should be tuesday or wednesday i hope), i'm going to modify one of his costumes, because my intent is for his first costume to be his normal costume, his 2nd costume to show effects of the clockwork alloy on his body, the 3rd costume to be a little different than it is now, but with one or two clockwork components, and then once i reach 40 and get his last costume, it is going to be his ultimate form, a mixture of human and clockwork components.

And yeah, its midnight i know, but oh well.

Allright, I've got my character down, I used her breifly on my account but stopped for some reason, here was the story I had made for her for the most part. (I'm going for the CoV copy)

Sorry that it's kinda rushed at the end.

Basketcase:

Emily Roopernane was a sick girl when she was a kid. She suffered illness almost constantly and lived in a dirty slummy home in King's Row. She also had the misfortune of being brought up in an impovershed home, despite her parent's best efforts, they were simply unable to provide for their daughter and the adoption agencies wouldn't give her a second look because of her history of illness. Emily's childhood was bleak at it's best. This wasn't like your typically hollywood story about a kid from the slums. She didn't have a special ability to spell really good or win some running contest; all she had were her illnesses.

Her nosy neighbors didn't help much; either. Of course, their hearts were in the right place, they saw the flithy home that she lived in, her parents weren't home enough to clean it and she was seldom strong enough to lift a finger around the house. They demanded that the child be taken away from her parents. Emily spent many summers talking to CPA agents about the state of her home, and then being given the news that they couldn't find her a foster home.

Her life at home other than time spent talking to CPA agents was mostly trying to do chores around the house, or recovering from yet another sickness. There was one thing, though. There was a room in her house that was always locked, she didn't know what was in there and her mom would warn her that she shouldn't knock on the door when it is locked. When Emily would put her ear to the door, she could swear that she could hear breathing on the other side. It was something that scared her on those many days where she had to miss school and stayed at home.

Finally, Emily contracted a highly contagious illness that got many of the children in the neighborhood sick as well, the neighbors had had enough at this point; and now demanded that her parents take Emily to a doctor. Once more they demanded what should be done with her life, but none of them had the courtesty to at least assist her parents in the deeds. Most of the doctors in galaxy city were far out of her parents pricing range, and even pleas for help to the mayor that her parents mailed went unnoticed.

Finally, her parents had found a doctor in King's Row that they heard could help Emily and was much cheaper than any of the doctors in Galaxy city and even the modestly priced Crowne Memorial. They took her to this doctor, and he promised that he could cure her, and even strengthen her immune system so she would hardly ever get sick again. Her parents were overjoyed, if only for the fact that the neighbors would finally let them live in peace if Emily were to be able to resist illness.

The only thing they didn't realize was that this doctor was Doctor Vazhilok, the insane doctor obsessed with reanimating the dead in order to improve humanity according to his own twisted vision. The sinister doctor had eluded capture from heroes many times over the past years as he perfected his ultimate creation, the eidolon. He had all the factors figured out, take the parts of the greatest heroes who had ever lived and put them together, but there was just one thing missing, the eidolons weren't mindless zombies like his cadavers, and his reapers were so brainwashed that their minds couldn't be influeced further in order to take advantage of the gifts that these heroes parts would bring. He needed a mind that he could use to control the body, and Emily's parents just brought him one in their 14 year old daughter.

There was just one thing, she was too young. The doctor had to wait for her to mature.

He arrived at the home of the Roopernane's early one october evening, and gave them the news that Emily had passed away despite his best efforts. A funeral was set up and everything, and to the world Emily Roopernane was dead. A few years passed and the nosy neighbors would forget that she even existed.

But she was still alive; kept as the prisoner of the doctor as he waited for the right time. Finally when she was 20 the time had come and he was ready to have her mind transferred among the many eidolons that he had created. The process was almost completed when a group of fledgeling superheroes, mentored by the Backalley Brawler broke up the "ritual", leaving Emily's mind fragmented and the eidolons with enough intelligence to operate. Vazhilok, not willing to have his creation destroyed, even if they're only halfway finished, fled the scene, leaving Emily behind.

The heroes tried to approach the captive, her skin was dyed a deathly purple tone and she frantically ran from the heroes, thinking them to be more of Vazhilok's men, she held out her arms. And in something that could only be described as a side effect of the process, she unleashed a crushing gravity field, one so strong that her weak and malnorished body was unable to handle it (how gravity control came from a mind siphon machine, you ask? Who cares? It's comic book logic). None of the heroes were harmed, and in fact one of them, Fire Ant, took her broken body to Talos Island, a friend of hers, some tech junky she can't remember the name of helped her recover.

Now, Emily can't survive the outside world without use of a respirator to stimulate her crushed lungs and circuitry wired throughout her body to keep her mobile. Why did they even want her to live? She'd figure, why be damned to such a state?

But the thought of being the hero intrigued her. At first, "Basketcase" was one of the new heroes of King's Row, she helped out the children when they would be preyed upon, and when she had the time she would keep an eye on her parents. Everything seemed great for the new superhero.

Until something else changed in her life. She watched her father come home one night, distraught over the fact that he had been fired from a job at one of the local warehouses. One that she later found out was manufacturing that drug the gangs all use (Was it superdine? I don't remember) Basketcase stormed the warehouse and demanded answers, the foreman told her that the Superdine rumors were false, though. And that her father wasn't fired for finding out about it, but rather for the alcohol problem he claimed him and his wife had had for years, even before the unfortunate death of their daughter.

In a rage, Emily stormed back to her home, and found the illusion of her parents caring as best as they could smitten. Old letters to the mayor of the town, pleading for help in Emily's conditions would lay in drawers around the house, not send not out of cruelty or spite, but out of sheer neglect in the pursuit of drinking down yet another night in the hell that King's Row was. Liquor bottles were displayed all over, sucked dry, and finally the locked door from her childhood that she remembered she now had the strength to open, and she did. Her mother was inside, recovering from a hangover.

It was all neglect, alcohol ruined her life, but more importantly the skewed economy of Paragon City itself did. With all the heroes in the world, why hadn't King's Row changed for the better? An embittered Basketcase gave up her heroic ways at that point.


Her main purpose now is hunting down Doctor Vazhilok and stopping him with his own creation, the Basketcase.


Fun fact: When we first started playing the game, we referred to the Vazhilok as "Valk's cocks", I don't quite know why.

SuperHamn was adopted by his Grandma and Grandpa after they found him near a mysteriously crashed spaceship that look suspiciously like a giant refridgerator. Originally they thought he was just an oversized pig and that the radiation from the spaceship had just made him huge. However, they found out he just wasn’t a prize winning pig ( though this certainly didn’t stop them from entering him in contests to win them boatloads of cash) and more importantly dinner after he started speaking their language. Apparently he hailed from the planet of Swyne and was the sole survivor as his planet and his people had been invaded (and most likely eaten ) by the Canites, aliens resembling humanoid wolves. Upon noticing his strange powers. His grandparents named him "SuperHamn" and told him to go to Paragon City to make millions…er…fight for the greater good.

Blah, I know it's too late for the contest, so I'm still gonna enter in my own character(s), even without pictures.

FemDef-
A half-way organized group of female superheros from a fairly distant Earth. The colonies have streached out to the far reaches of the tenth planet, with Pluto quickly being designated as a prison planet, and Jupitor the planet where the Solar System Planetary Parliment resides. FemDef were joined together mostly by coincidence and cercumstance (forgive my spelling) but they soon were fast growing as one of the most well known super groups of the day.

Superheros were once something of comic books and movies in the world of Earth, but as population increased, and people were forced to make cities underground, war broke out above the surface. Nuclear bombs were used as the last of the colonists left Earth's orbit, and the nuclear winter as well. A hundred years in the future, the decendents of those who dwelled aboveground at the time of the Nuclear Winter suddenly began to gain strange powers, some using them for good, some for evil.

None realizing the war that was being fought on a much grander scale-->

Powers – The ability to control the basic concepts of nature, not including animals and weather. Such abilities allow her to manipulate the growth of plants, the stability of soil/ground, and some slight ability to alter atmosphere(i.e. Can create a six-foot bubble of thin atmosphere equal to that of 10,000 feet altitude).
Past – Born to a high-ranking member of the Solar Parliament, Natore had a good life. When she gained her powers at the age of six, she was at first curious of it, but soon became ashamed after the reactions of her schoolmates. She hid it from her parents and teachers, denying any ability when her schoolmates attempted to turn her in. She soon found they were harder and harder to keep a secret as she reached puberty, where they soon grew nearly out of control. Her father found them out, and took her to a boarding school that specialized in the teaching of such students. His upbeat reaction took her by surprise, and it was then that she decided her powers could be used for good. After five years in the school, she decided to take a job as a professor. Soon after, however, her father died of the Jupiter Plague (a type of cancer found on the colonies of Jupiter). She mourned in solitude for a year before realizing that she could do something greater for the world, and began her search for more people like herself.
Costume – Wears blue and light blue colors, with her hair pulled back in a pony-tail. She wears loose fitting garments (light blue peasant’s blouse, dark blue pants) and a pair of black combat boots. Her mask has eye-filters that cover her eye color, and is split down the center, giving the look of the bottom of butterfly wings.

Amazon (Second In Command)
Real Name – Tori Grant
Age – 29
Hair – Black
Eyes – Brown
Skin – Dark African-American
Powers – Enhanced speed, reflexes, and strength. Wields a high-tech compound bow. Some control over larger cats, mostly the Jupiter crossbreeds. Unusually high intelligence.
Past – Born and raised on Earth, Amazon has always been more physically advanced then anyone else at her age. Although her parents were from America, she lived in Brazil for most of her life. When she was made aware that she was perhaps a bit more advanced then a normal human, she began to research the possibility of her being one of the “superheroes” that were starting to populate the Solar System. The older she grew, the more she began to believe that she was one of a higher-race of more evolved humans. She soon left Brazil at the age of 18 to travel to the University of Mercury, where she excelled and started to experiment on herself and fellow students to try and isolate what was termed as the “Overdweller Gene.” In consequence, however, one of the experiments backfired, leaving her with the ability to “talk” to cats. She became even more cat-like herself, with more pointed ears, and a sharper concept of the world. She also became stronger and faster, excelling at all sports at her university. Graduating two years early, she moved to Jupiter in an effort to become part of Parliament. Instead, she found a young woman with a strange notion of joining together more of their kind. After much negotiations, Amazon half-heartedly agreed, as long as she became second in command.

Powers – Inability to feel pain, control over seismic activity, resulting in low-level ground bursts.
Past – Sister to Moonlight. Born and raised on the slum planet Neptune, C.S. and Moonlight lived a hard life of starvation and homelessness. At the age of 15, C.S.’s family was caught in a riot, and all sent to live on the prison planet of Pluto. Life became even harder. C.S.’s powers did not manifest themselves until she was almost 18, where a knife fight lost her her eye and nearly her little sister. When her seismic powers flared, she leveled three blocks of A Quadrant and killed four people. It was then she knew she had to escape with Moonlight, even if it ment leaving her parents behind. The desicition to escape became an even easier one when vengeful members of Prison gangs murdered her parents. She did everything possible to leave, including breaking into a guard level and getting control of a computer. She sent out a single cry for help, answered by a hacker with the handle of “Catlady.” Plans were e-mailed and downloaded, and her and her sister escaped shortly after with the help of Amazon and Natore.

Powers – Psychic Abilities (low-level, can only read thoughts and emotions, not project.) High martial art skill.
Past – Butterfly was born in New Korea, and raised in a Chinese monastery as a servant to a high-class villager who lived a short distance from the monastery. She became aware of her powers at the age of 10, where she “overheard” a plot to overrun the monastery in attempt to gain control over the land on which it resided. She approached the head of the monastery with caution, but soon was a key role in protecting the monastery. In return the head monk took her under his wing and taught her marital arts, and how to hone her new-found ability to read minds. When her guardian was approached by the group of four women who were interested in teaching her further, she was at first scared, but soon felt that they were to trust. She went willingly with them, to travel to the stars, although the language barrier was a bit of an issue.
Costume – Ninja-like gear with a cape, and a mask shaped like a butterfly. Carries a Chinese sword.

Real Name – Dreamcatcher

Skin Color – Dark Native American
Powers- Ability to roam into other people’s dreams and change the outcomes and situations. Also can influence a person’s subconscious to give them false gut-feelings and base reactions. At a higher-level, can influence the mind enough to change the process of the body, even shutting off involuntary reactions, such as heart-beat and breathing.
Past- Born as a half-breed of the now-growing Navaho, Dreamcatcher was a trouble-maker from the beginning. Never liking to pay attention to her lessons, and always finding that breaking things and hurting animals was always more fun then her lessons. She always seemed to live in a dream world, and found real life was too constricting. She ran away from home when she was 15 and stowed away on a shuttle bound for Jupiter. She took quickly to the streets, even gaining her own “family” of hooligans, causing trouble and the like. She survived on luck and pick-pocketing alone, becoming addicted to the Hone drug, which allowed her to stay in a dream-like state for days, letting her gain more access to her powers. A heavy smoker and drinker, she didn’t seem to give half a damn about her life until she found a red-haired prostitute beaten half-to death and raped in an alleyway. Where normally she would have left the woman behind, she felt something twitch and took care of the prostitute, who called herself Ginger. Ginger soon woke and her and Dreamcatcher lived together for a short while, before their area was attacked by a Superhuman terrorist group. Instead of running, as the two women would have done before, they decided to stay and fight where they found that the current group of “FemDef” had become their backup. At first hesitant when the leader asked them to join, they soon jumped at the chance at being able to live in a mansion.

Real Name - Ginger Falstick
Age – 30
Hair – Red/Orange/Blonde (changes)

Skin – Freckled Caucasion
Powers – Seduction and heavy pheromone output. Ability to read and somewhat control male minds.
Past – Ginger never had it easy. Born in the slums of Jupiter’s main colony to an Alcholic mother and a crack-head father, she couldn’t even understand why she made it past childhood. She ran away very young only to be drawn into the dark world of prostitution, where she was sold to the highest bidder, from one pimp to another. Her powers were always active, but she never realized the true potential until she was nearly 25, and actually kept herself from being beaten by her current pimp. She used her powers to her advantage, but was caught aware by a gang of street thugs one night and left for dead in an alleyway. She was found by Dreamcatcher, and nursed back to health. I read up on CoHs a bit, and im sure ill need some advice on travel pools, but i think i read that the overall best is speed running, however i always thought flying was badass looking...what do you guys think?

depending upon your character type, most everyone likes Super Jump, although i prefer fly myself.

If you chose a melee character, such as a tanker or scrapper, get "Air Superiority", its in the fly powerset, even if you dont choose fly, it has a knockdown attack, and if they are on the ground, they arent attacking you.

I usually play healer and buffer characters in mmo's...im hoping you can make them in CoHs right? Would you suggest teleport for one of those?

Yeah, Defenders and Controllers are the healer/buffer classes. Teleport is okay, but you will want to get one power in the jump set, called "combat jumping" it increases your defense a bit, and most of your buffs CANT be used on yourself. If you solo you will be okay, but in big groups, you need all the defense you can get, and hope you are with other players that can keep enemies from targetting you directly.

Edit: i'd probably pick a controller if you solo more, because their abilities hold enemies, so they cant get in mele range, and you can pick them off one at a time.

If you want a rundown on how the way the hero classes play:

Tanker: you'll do some damage, but the damage you take will be minimal. Tanks keep the damage off of other more fragile heroes. Expect to party alot as most people want tanks!

Scrapper: Damage up close and personal. You'll do alot, but because your're in the thick of it you can be KO"ed really fast. Fun class though.

Blaster: Ranged attack. Does alot of damage also. Not many melee attacks so you gotta keep yourself from getting surrounded and mainly away from the enemies.

Controller: As a controller, when you start out you'll probably feel like the weakest class. The upside is when you start leveling, you'll find out to be one of the stongest classes. Controllers do just that "control", meaning they manage the fights. You can play many roles with a controller.

Protector: This is a buff and heal class. So expect to party alot. That's good cause protectors do crap damage.

Also if any of you feel obliged, you should post the name of your hero on Guardian, so people know who you are....

Well my computer would be in the above recommended stats if it bothered to realize my CPU is an Athlon XP and not just a regular athlon since it's above the speed specs. My computer is going on a year old now, the parts in it being top of the line about 2 years ago or so.

PandaMoe, one thing, the game will download the patch, and then will apply it to the game, so you might have thought it was restarting, but was actually applying the patch. Maybe take a screenshot of what is on screen when you thought it restarted, and i can tell you if it actually restarted, or was actually applying the downloaded patch to the game.

Well, all I know is whenever I try to run it it gets to Fixing File soung pigg something something then it's going so slow that I just give up. I think it says it's going to take 24 hours+ which I assumed must be the result of something going wrong. I have an ATI Radeon 9250 PCI Graphics Card. I had gotten Warcraft III Battle Chest last December and made it halfway through the first game when suddenly it froze and crashed and switched back to the normal VGA Graphics originally on the computer. There was no solution to it, via updaying drivers to re-installing the card itself. Always froze at the same exact place, always kicking the comp back to standard VGA mode. So basically I have a game I can't play. So PandaMoe, I can relate.

I've tried teaming up 3 times and each time I've lagged out. I'd be glad to give it another go and definately be glad to join a super group. What level do you have to be to make super groups? I could go ahead and make one since I think I might be the highest level villain.

I been having problems though recently with the interface. The mouse cursor glitches and the windows start doing the same. It usually happens a little while after logging in. Quitting and re-logging fixes it, but it's a problem regardless. And then yesterday, the whole game froze on me.

i'd like to say i'm pleasantly annoyed, thanks to PLayNC's **** directions that they always seem to have. Was registering my account to what I thought was my CoH account, gave me a message saying that it was already being used, so i used a different furking account name. So the CoV/CoH wasn't linked together, a fact I found out painfully when trying to enter a base via Superhero. (Thank god for that otherwise I would have never known.) So the CoV serial code is now registered to the different account name and thanks to PlayNCs bull **** setup I can't delete any of it. A call to the technical support only got me a "we'll send you an email so we can give you a new serial code and disable the one you have". Christ knows how clear those directions will be.

I really had a hard time with CoH too when I first registered with it. It took forever to get the confirmation e-mail. Thier customer service bites.

Claw, regen scrappers are fine. Their healing isnt as effective as what it use to be, but its still a good combination. You may, however, want to think about trying a broadsword, katana or thorns scrapper (justa suggestion).

The jump power pool is great for scrappers. And always remember, if you dont like your travel power, there are always re-specs. The first re-spec mission you can do is when youre lvl 24 and they are also given out by Cryptic on special occasions.

Well, Basketkase is a grav/rad controller, back when I used to play they were the bees knees, but now it seems like rad got nerfed a little.

Beats grav/kinetics :p

I also have Ice/Ice tanker for waterbeetle, I think it's good so far.

And I have a Fire/Fire corruptor villain named RedSacrab...which fire/fire doesn't seem to be working so well.

Controllers are nice. I have a level 20 ( around there) Illusion/Kinetics/Teleport. Suffice to say, she can solo extremely well, but is also great at partying. It's always great getting the bosses to attack thier own henchmen. :D

Basically i called up the customer support line to find out how to get a new Serial code to upgrade my CoH account with CoV. Reason being because they never gave instructions that you have to upgrade the CoH account rather then making a complete new CoV account, which I had done.

There is no way to delete the CoV account, or "Remove Games". It's just "Add GAmes". I can assume that it's set up this way so people can't use the same copy of CoV/CoH on different computers.

So I called customer support, they sent me an e-mail that I had to reply to in order for them to give me a new Serial Code. I replied to that e-mail and am now waiting for them to reply back with a new Serial Code. Then I'll be able to upgrade the CoH acount. Until then...


Actually this isn't the first time either that i've been dissapointed in PlayNCs crap registrations. When I first got CoH, it took them forever to send me a confirmation e-mail regarding the master PLayNC account. without that I had to wait all evening until I could finally log onto the game.

Well the SuperGroup is good for keeping in contact. You don't have to team to talk with everyone. Besides which SGs can make thier own base. (If they have Villains.) And another thing is, if we belong to a Supergroup we won't constantly be bothered with other people asking us to join one.

I need to redo my character. My fire attacks are just doing around 26 to 28 damage at level 12. I have level 15 damange and aim attacks. But they don't seem to really help.

Does anyone know if a fire / device blaster is worth it? I would like some knockback attacks. Since I seem to constantly get rushed at. And I want some decent attack strength that matches a scrapper.

Energy/Energy Blaster isnt too bad, but its mostly for soloing, as they have knockback powers, that people will ***** about in group play.

Hey, are you slotting your powers with damage enhancements? And you should be getting ready for DualOrigin enhancements now, which will make you much more effective...if you can afford them.

what attacks do you have?. Part of it is that you are using devices, instead of another secondary, most of which have attacks also. soon you will start getting mines. Smoke bomb, cloaking device, trip mine, time bomb, and auto turret are the best powers in that secondary. but that secondary has the lowest amount of attack powers.

The damage with Fire is probably normal, once you can get a few more powers in your secondary you will enjoy it more.

LOL, that should keep you for a while, even with dual origin enhancements

Dual origin enhancements (DO) are exactly what they are called. Your origin, whether is be natural, tech, science, magic or mutation, that are combined with another origin ie. mag/mut mag/nat sci/tech etc. You are able to start using them from lvl 12. At lvl 22, you can move onto single origins (SO) that is for your origin only.

I suggest using these as soon as possible and dont be frivilous with your imfluence. Enhancements are only goo for 3 lvls at a time and then you have to upgrade. That is really expensive and around lvls 25 and so, you will start to run out of money. But then around 30 or so, you will have so much, it wont become a problem anymore. This is were debt kinda evens it out. When you have debt, you dont level as fast and you make more influence.

LOL, no, dont attack Lusca solo, it will be almost instant death.

But it is fun fighting Lusca, and you get AWESOME exp from it...but generally, most people die 2 or 3 times, so it covers your debt, and you get a cool badge.

That thing reminds me of Deathsurge in Villains. Deathsurge is level 20 and reads Purple for level 28s(I don't what it reads for anything higher). It was me(Level 21 at the time) summoning all my men, 4 other level 21 people summoning all their men, and one brute wailing on him. He murdered us all, hunted down the ones who ran. Poor noobs who were invisible walking past him died too. Apparently he can sense Invis. He scares me and I'm never going to fight him again till I'm well over level 30. He has like 110% heal every 5 seconds. So, if you can't kill him in one concentrated attack in 5 seconds, then you can't beat him really.

Sounds to me that he is what they call a GM or Giant Monster. His damage that he deals to you (and you deal to him) scales for your level, so a whole group of lvl 30's would take him out at relatively the same speed as a bunch of lvl 40's.

They are fun to kill, but you generally need to have a group of atleast 8, better to have 12-16 people, all working in unison, and it is much easier to beat GM's.

Y'know, I love this game, but one thing I can't stand about it is the folks who always send out blind invites. And not just blind invites to a team, but a Supergroup as well! Even with a message that says "don't blind invite me" they send that balloon right up into the center of the screen. Wow, talk about ridiculous. Went inside Pocket D to show off Dr.MAchina to DK here and ended up becoming trapped inside the elevator. Luckily Imp's telports gave me an idea of how to leave, so I ended up having to create another villian just so i could flag down someone who could port me to the damn door. He's finally out and not going back there for awhile.
