open the controller up. re-align it, use some tweezers to slide the sensor pad back under the button, screw it closed, rejoice.

Steal one of your friend's. When I was living with three other guys we'd always have this russian roulette-type deal where you never knew when you had been dumped with the bad controller. I showed them all by taking the good PS2 when I left.

This happened to me before, too. How I solved the problem was, I smashed the controller with a sledge hammer then went to the store to buy a new one. Smashing it was a bit extreme, but it made me feel better.

Sounds fun. Maybe I'll try that with my own controller. Seems it's been a while since it last rumbled. I'll have to test it with RPGM2.

Try some Rubbing Alcohol or something to lube it and then keep pressing
the button. It's probably jammed cuase of dirt or something.

Though, my shoulder buttons haven't stuck on me ever.

My GBA's R button doesn't do jack unless I press it a certain specific way. I tried opening it up but the screws have an odd shape to them. WHAT SHOULD I DO!?
                          ...and that's why.

Use a knife or a minature screw driver to pop it off the controller and look around to see what is catching and fix that. When thats done just place it back in.

Its a lot easier if you have a clear controller.

                              Re: My L2 button

Ive used the right joystick so much on mine that theres a deep ring worn down around it if you look at the conrtoller sideways, and it no longer springs back into place so quickly anymore. In fact sometimes it jiggles back and forth and moves things on the screen if I shake the controller around.
