    Naruto's 3D showcase :)

I'm going for a low poly comic book super hero style woman like an X-Men or something. That's why she looks like she's naked but doesn't have any toes. And, I'll make some hair for her later. I'd appreciate any critiques from the 2D and 3D artists here.

Well... it's just a basic model now. So there's not much to critique.

But I can tell you, that is one big ass.

It is a rather large tuckus.

Head seems too flat, keep in mind that the eyes mark about the center of the head, so above and below them should be equal.

Vogue has a Teen magazine? *orders it*

          I'm with it.

And I'm all for a full-figured woman. But her butt is unnaturally large compared to the rest of her, and since it's obvious that Naruto is going for a more real approach, I think that her derriere is obtrusively big.

It just makes her look like she's got a fat ass, but a really fit and trim body otherwise, which isn't normal.

You live near a fudge factory?

            Awesome.

I haven't had fudge in too long... thankfully.

But seriously, just a tad bit o' slimming aught to take care of that.

It looks like it's hanging over! I can't help my genetically-determined, socially-inspired biases.

Actually, it dosen't seem as large as all that. Are those the same images from earlier?

                Now I want freaking fudge.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll make sure and post updates later on.

I'm not going for a real approach. I said comic book style. This is what I want. Notice Psylocke, Zealot, and Vodooo's asses.

If that's the style you're going for, you need way more muscle definition, unless of course you plan on doing most of that with your mapping.

I don't think the butt is that big, but I think the slenderness of her waist contributes to how much it "sticks out".

I circled the problematic area for me. I took a photo of a nude female from my archive who is standing in the same pose. I had to black and white it, but if you want the actual photo let me know.

From the pelvis up everything looks pretty solid, but from there down I aint diggin the form.

Yeah, send me the pic, ivalice. I'm always looking for good refence pics.

Here is an updated version. I dropped the ass shortening the legs a bit and I tried not making it end with such a sharp curve. I tried to loosely match it with Vida here.

                            Hey, pretty sweet.

She looks like she can slice a gravys'd beefs pie into bite sizes in less than four seconds. Without the kunai, even.

Are you going for a lower poly level character or a high poly render? If high poly then mesh smooth is your friend, I dramicly increases the poly count per iteration but it's very friendly. I only have a half of year of experience with 3D Max (if this is what you are using) but I know how hard it is to make a 3d model look real (and proportional). Making a character have a big butt somtimes just comes out that way unintentionally...
