GBA Castlevania 2 in 1 pack

I just found out about this recently, just after I had bought Aria of Sorrow for $30 (the same price as the 2 in 1 which contains AoS). It consists of Aria of Sorrow and Harmony of Dissonance and it comes out January 10th from what I can gather. I think I want to get it just for HoD. Does anyone know if the games are on seperate carts?

I think they come in one cart. Did you know that HOD sucks btw? I didn't know it was rare. I usually see a few copies of it used at EB.

Yeah. HoD is the rotten, stinking middle child of the GBA Castlevania series.

The two games are on one cartridge.

        I think it's just misunderstood.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Both games are definately on one cartridge. If you're a collector the package probably isn't worth it much. I suppose that Harmony of Dissonance is crappy, but only if you compare it to the best Castlevania games.

I've heard that it sucks but I've never played it. What makes it so bad (gameplay wise)? I heard its basically a symphony clone, but isn't that a good thing?

Lousy, boring level design primarily. And the tinny sound annoyed the bejeezus outta me. That doesn't happen often.

Juste's sprite was annoying to stare at. Red with a bright blue outline...
Maxim was worse, like a garbled army man.

Eh, I'll still need this to replace my AoS with the dead back-up battery.
Oh my god! You are so beautiful.
I had no idea how beautiful you were.

I'm considering getting it. I keep giving Castlevania a try even though I haven't managed to actually enjoy any that I've played. I know it's a great game series but I just can't seem to get into it.

If you don't enjoy it then its obviously not your type of game. No sense in trying to give it a chance. I never played any of the Castlevanias until less than a month ago, a friend let me borrow Symphony of the Night and now I'm a fan. I can't get enough of CV (the SotN type ones).

Super Metroid was ahead of its time.

I have never seriously played Super Metroid.

Super Metroid is boring compared to Castlevania though.
